Rocket Punk Concept

Designing the Rocket Punk aestetic is actually a lot more intellectual than one might imagine... 

Long pants are a necessity in the Fringe as they offer protection, utility, and warmth, so shorts are an outward display of strength, as are the fancy socks. The length of her hair, even though it's pinned, is another show of strength. She's clearly stating that she's not afraid of killing anyone who tries to grab it.

Beyond the simple "R" & "P" brands on the back of her arms she also has a few tattoos that are aestetic (on her arms and upper torso), as well as the stylized "soldier" tattoo on her stomach. Three marks of the same kind in a triagular pattern are an indication that she's a trained fighter/solder for the Rocket Punks. Based on these visual cues we can infer that she's a former slave or prisoner of the punks who is now a fairly well off member of the family.
