Yeah, Hem Cleveland is really good in this - we see her full range of emotions across the series until this point, from the detached and more mechanical archiving of audio files in the beginning, along the journey of more and more emotional attachment, into truly grieving Graham ahead of time. Even the breathing as prep in between messages - that depiction of anxiety before saying something incredibly difficult is very realistic and relatable, and makes the heart ache from the pain inside.
Absolutely amazing, can't wait to see how this all ends
Travis, the simple sound effect of the lights flickering on was surprisingly well done. Where did you record it?
That one was Dayn! I also was caught quite aback at how much detail was put into that light, having it flicker, walking past it on the left side, and eventually walking further away from it. I handled the bulk of the other ambient noises & bone-sounds within the cave, and he tackled the wind for that scene. We have a really cool partnership on this show that I hope to get deeper into one day in a 'behind the scenes'
Wait, where did the Avrum tie in flicker past???
The narrator's acting is...beyond amazing. She deserves all the awards.
Did the Documentarian just betray Graham? Or is she sending him on a suicide mission that will risk everything?
I don't think she betrayed him because they both knew what she was saying. He understands he must die.
Yes! This has been BBC so entertaining and the production of putting all the pieces together is phenomenal. I’m not sure if that we was the finale or not, but not only did ivlidd sad ten to listen to it several times, but I went back and read the script along side listening to the production once again. BRAVO!
Every episode this season gets better and better. I find myself listening to it over and over again just to make sure that I disgest all of the details. The history of the guardians is so compelling! Excellent!
Wow, white vault is my absolute favourite! This episode had me on the edge of my seat! Can’t wait for more !
Such a fantastic episode, can hardly wait to see how it all turns out!
Listened to it during my walk tonight, and one particular scene made me jump and nearly sent me into a mound of snow. Stellar work, as always!
These last season episodes are so packed with information, my head is spinning - in a good way!
I loved every second of it. Thank you sssso much.
I think this is my favorite episode.
It’s getting crazy!! So cool.
This is the BEST EPISODE! It made my skin creep, it made my heartbeat loud and made my eyes the size of dinner plates the entire time
OH MY GOD. Hands down the best episode yet! The intricate audio is breathtaking! Definitely the scariest yet!
And I squealed when the Avrum tie-in flickered past!
Ooooooh! New pod is the best birthday present ever!
Happy Birthday Mali :D
