Hearing Karin Heimdahl's work here, especially in that calm, soothing, explanatory tone, reminds me that I should listen to Chaika again.
What is the music when The Documentarian steps into the site within the crevasse and describes the depth and completeness of the black and white in there? It's beautiful and I wish to listen to it more. Also, as much as I love horror, I really enjoy the process of learning about the world and hearing its described, terrible beauty.
The "I was already her daughter, but there I was her child" was a great line. I think I get the feeling. I am a fully grown human, almost mid-30s, 3 children, partner, all the things that society considers you an adult for. But there's nothing like a get together with my parents to make me feel like a child. In that "I'm not a real adult, I'm always going to be behind them" small sort of way parents can make you feel.
Thank you. I'm glad that line hits home with you.
I wish there were illustrations for the stories. It would definitely help picturing the scenes in the stories in my mind.
This episode has been so amazing so far. I really appreciated all of the details of the statues, I suppose I misunderstood how they looked previously. I can't believe this is ending in a just a few episodes. Thank you so much for everything.
It was great to listen to this, while the snow is falling outside. Thank you!
Guys, amazing.. thanks for an incredible episode. White Vault is one of the most consistent, captivating and unique stories I’ve ever heard.
I absolutely with everyone in this thread. This episode greatly exceeded all expectations! I have never experienced any story like this! Kaitlyn and Travis,...the creative art and strict detail you put into all of your stories is like nothing I've heard on any other platform. No one does like you two and your creative team. If I could donate more monthly, I would. :) I would love to see The White Vault and Vast Horizon on screen someday!
Thanks Larry! We hope to see them there one day too :)
This was an awesome episode, I’ve listened to it 4 times already. Thank you so much for the amazing and wonderful years of giving us The White Vault. It is and has been my favorite serial podcast ever! I am so sad to see it end but I hope you will continue spin-offs in the future (the very near future lol). Travis, Kaitlin, and the cast feel like good friends and I am grateful for you getting me through the tough times of my illness & injuries. I always had somewhere to escape. xoxo DeadlyBlonde (Kathy Robinson)
This backstory is very cool, sounds like somewhere I would love to backpack
I've waited sooooo long for the lore revealed in this episode! WOW
This 5th season has just been amazing. Hard to know it's wrapping up but just have loved the ride so far.
Why did it take me this long to realize this story is so much like Cabin in the Woods? The narrator's mother is a lot like Sygorny Weaver's character
Aaaaaaahhh
I'm getting nothing else done today until I listen to this
Yeeeees!
