Mixing White Vault #002

Dear Explorers,

This weekend, midst 90 degree Florida weather we finished creating the soundscape for episode 002 of the White Vault! In addition to the sounds of character movement recorded for each scene (created by wearing the above coat and vest), I also record many of the sound effects heard on the show in a manner exactly like you see above. Episode 002 has the characters drinking tea, wine, and coffee, so I was in for a long weekend of caffeine and alcohol! (Just kidding, it's water... or is it?)

As you hear the characters pop open a wine bottle and pour glasses, the above is what you're actually hearing. I'm excited to get a jump start on episode 003 while Strader mixes 002. With any luck we'll have 002 complete for you a full week early!

Also, a mini-update: We've gone through one final time and updated the Patreon pledge levels. We'll be adding goodies like ringtones over the following week, posting the final build of the Citizen's Guide in three weeks, and catching up on Sabina's notes! Most notably, we've moved bloopers and bonus episodes up to the $5 level, following the example of other podcasts patreons.
