Realistic Life & Pregnancy Mod

Sul sul Simmers! The wait is finally over, and I’m thrilled to share my favorite Realistic Life & Pregnancy Mod with you.

This update introduces a wealth of new, realistic, and enjoyable gameplay elements to enhance your pregnancy experience. I’ve added numerous interactions to make each stage feel more dynamic, and I’ve included compatibility with Pandasama’s Childbirth mod. If you use that mod, these interactions will seamlessly integrate; if not, they still enrich your gameplay.

The mod now features a Before Pregnancy pie menu, interactions for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters, a unique Hates Children trait pie menu that appears exclusively for Sims with that trait, a Post-Pregnancy menu, and several interactions available throughout all trimesters.

1- Before pregnancy:

These interactions only appear if your Sim tries for a baby and the pregnancy test comes back negative. Depending on your Sim’s personality, the experience can feel very different.

• You’ll notice separate moodlets: one for Sims with the Hates Children trait, and another for Sims without it. The interaction can be found under the new Pregnancy pie menu that is located under Friendly, and the moodlets you receive will change based on whether or not your Sim has the Hates Children trait.

It's such a fun way to tell a story! Imagine your two Sims are trying to have a baby, but things just aren't going as planned. They can sit down together, talk about their feelings, and support each other through it all. It’s a great way to make sure they don't feel alone on this journey!

• These interactions appear under the Pregnancy pie menu when your Sim is pregnant but hasn’t taken a pregnancy test yet and starts feeling nauseous. This is the perfect moment to add drama and storytelling to your game.

  For Teens and Sims with the Hates Children trait, you’ll unlock “Panic About Possible Pregnancy.” Teens can use this interaction to freak out with their partner, straight out of a teen pregnancy movie. Sims with the Hates Children trait can use it to confess their fears to a best friend and spiral into panic.

  For Sims without the Hates Children trait, “Talk About Possible Pregnancy” will appear instead, allowing for a calmer, more hopeful conversation.

2- The 1st trimester:

Once your sim finds out they're pregnant, they'll unlock the 1st Trimester pie menu! Each interaction comes with its own special moodlet, adding to the fun. to enjoy this exciting new chapter of their life

If your pregnant Sim has a child, they get to enjoy a special interaction to announce the great news about their soon-to-arrive sibling! It’s such a heartwarming experience and joy to share those fun moments together!

And just like in real life, your little Sim may not want to share this happy moment with their parents. Instead, they might feel jealous, left out, or worried about being replaced by the new baby.

Using “Share Pregnancy Gender Preference”, your Sim can decide what they’re hoping for a boy, a girl, or even dream big and wish for twins or triplets. Or they might simply wish for a healthy baby, because for some Sims, the gender doesn’t matter at all. (Both parents will receive a trait)

Once they decide, they will receive a trait showing what they want

If you prefer not to let your Sim decide their traits on their own, you can use cheats. First, press "Shift + Ctrl + C" on your keyboard to open the cheat console. Then, type "TestingCheats on" and hit Enter. Next, hold Shift and click on the Sim for whom you want to choose a trait. You will find the option under "Cheat Sim Info..."

New interactions will be unlocked for every trait:

I’m excited to share that I’ve added some fun new interactions for teen pregnancy! Now, your teen sim will have some engaging moments with their partner and parents. The partner interactions are designed to spark a bit of drama, and you might notice that some responses could lead to a breakup. You'll be able to explore this in-game!

As a teenager, there comes a time when you can no longer hide certain things from your parents. Your stomach may start to grow, and the symptoms become increasingly obvious. It’s important for your teen character to speak up, even though it’s rarely a joyful experience. This conversation could potentially disrupt family dynamics and create distance between the parent and the teen.

3- The 2nd Trimester:

Once your Sim enters the 2nd trimester, a brand-new pie menu becomes available.

4- The 3rd Trimester:

When your sim reaches the exciting third and final trimester, a fun new pie menu will pop up! This menu includes a hilarious mischief interaction called "Fake Construction." Plus, it comes with some delightful storytelling options, like picking baby names (with the chance for some friendly disagreements), designing the nursery, and daydreaming about what your little one will look like. These sweet moments are perfect for sharing with loved ones during this special journey, making your story even more heartwarming and enjoyable!

The 3rd trimester will also unlock a new interaction with your pregnant sim and their good or best friend, asking if they can be their Pregnancy coach, you will find this interaction under "Small Talk"

5- All trimesters:

During the three trimesters, your pregnant sim will unlock new features. For example, you can select “Talk to Baby” by clicking on the pregnant sim and choosing the Friendly interaction.

Additionally, your sim will encounter a Diabetes scare, which is a real concern for pregnant sims. It’s also important to discuss check-ups, as they will become a part of your sim's new routine.

The partner also unlocks a brand-new interaction under the Affection menu, allowing them to gently rub the Sim’s pregnant belly.

For Pandasama’s Childbirth mod compatibility, I created a brand-new menu made to work smoothly with their mod. Whether you have it installed or not, these interactions bring extra fun, depth, and realism to your stories. Your Sims will chat about every little detail, making pregnancy and childbirth feel more alive, heartwarming, and truly special to play.

6- In the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, your Sim can unlock a fun new menu to help influence the gender of their baby! They can ask grandparent or a friend for a “nooboo gender trick” to get some helpful tips. If your Sim is hoping for a little girl, encourage them to munch on strawberries and enjoy plenty of pop music every day. On the flip side, if they’re wishing for a baby boy, eating carrots and listening to alternative songs is the way to go. Have fun with it!

7-Players who have chosen the "Hates Children" trait for their Sims will have access to a new pie menu that allows for more expressive storytelling. This feature is perfect for creating narratives about a Sim who regrets becoming pregnant, or for those who initially wanted a child but later changed their minds. It can lead to dramatic situations, including breakups and emotional conflicts.

8- Post Pregnancy:

Once your sim has gone through their three trimesters and given birth, they will unlock a new pie menu called "The Fourth Trimester Mood." This menu includes cute features related to the baby, milestones, and interactions that can be shared with family and loved ones. These realistic feelings may help your sim feel better after connecting with those they care about.

The "Decide how to feed baby" one will make your sim choose between bottle feeding or breastfeeding

Not all Sims are built the same; some want to breastfeed while others choose not to. Both of these choices will unlock a unique trait that provides a pie menu, allowing your Sim to express themselves more fully.

If you prefer to make the decision for your Sim instead of letting them choose, for a more interesting storytelling experience, there's a cheat for that as well. This cheat will unlock the trait as if your Sim had chosen it themselves.

9- Postpartum Depression

This unlocks after giving birth and includes realistic, meaningful conversations your Sim can have as they navigate life after pregnancy. These interactions help them process their emotions and find comfort and support from their loved ones, making the experience feel truly heartwarming and connected.
