Monthly Mod News: October 2022

To easily check all my Mod Status on Google spreadsheet

Oct 31, 2022:

💜 Since The Sims 4 Base Game has become free for everyone, I noticed there are quite a few new players joining the Sims community and using my mods! Welcome!

Therefore, I added a Base-Game Compatible tag in both my Mod Status google spreadsheet and Patreon filter.

You can search for mods and traits made for the Base Game with this filter.

Every time a game patch is released, please check my Mod Status google spreadsheet.

If you are new to using my mods, please take a look at FAQ.

You need to read the download instructions on each mod page carefully to make sure you install them correctly in the Mod folder, download all required mods, and remove any add-on packages tagged with a pack you don't own.

Have a nice day!

NEW: Lunar Custom Preferences

🌕🌑 This brings a new preferences category of Moon Phases.

Sims can now have special buff reactions toward specific lunar phases!

I feel like the moon phases feature is underused in the base game so I created this small preferences set to make it a bit more interesting!

** Base game compatible. No other requirement!

** Compatible with any other mods.

🌞 Hi! In case you missed this tweet, I'm happy to announce that I'm part of the Official Mod Squad for The Sims 4 on CurseForge!

100 Base Game Traits Pack V1 and some of my other mods will be available to download on CurseForge on Nov 14!

Mod Squad is EA's official team of modders. The goal of this collaboration project between EA and modders is to create a platform for safe and reliable mods. This platform will be easier for mod users to install and update mods!

I still do updates and early access to my mods on my Patreon and I won't remove my traits and mods from their original platforms. 😉

🌞 Happy Patch Day! All my mods and traits should be compatible with patch 1.92.

Faithfulness Traits & Mods v3.9 should work just like before. I may update it later to rename my Loyal trait and make some slight adjustments since the game added a Loyal trait in the new patch.

I'm away from home for another week but I'm still available on discord. If you see any issues with my mods after the patch, feel free to tell me!
