Nostalgia Living CC Stuff Pack
It's finally finished! I'd like to thank you all for being so patient and encouraging <3 I've gotten great feedback and I hope you're happy with the finished result :)
Obviously, as the preview pictures demonstrate, hideous 90s maximal-ism is very achievable with this CC. But rest assured: there are plain swatches and calm neutrals for more 'everyday' usability too! Not to mention, vintage is trendy right now; a lot of these pieces look great with more modern cc :D
And this isn't all! There's a "Nostalgia" kitchen set upcoming, so keep an eye out for updates on that! I'll probably be posting them over on my tumblr (awingedllama.tumblr.com)
Everything in this set is BGC, however the Gaming Cube requires City Living to actually function. Also, every object has a custom thumbnail and can be found by searching either 'awingedllama' or 'nostalgia'.
Two important notes!
1: Some objects are texture-referenced, meaning you need the base object for the others to have textures as well (to cut down on file size). This is why certain objects only come in a merged form. Of course, you can delete ones you don't want in SFS if you're particular about how you want your build buy catalog; I just wanted to be safe by merging. No purple rainbows and question marks!
2: When changing the swatch on objects that have more than one mesh (i.e. 'Dad's Library'), you will get a 'Script Call Failed' error. It's not broken, you just need to change the swatch in the catalog *before* placing it. A little annoying but I don't know of any workaround!

Just a little update to include a known glitch: the stairs do not rotate properly with a 2 tile landing, only 1 tile. They also do not stretch well beyond 1 tile, the texture becomes blurry when widened. S4S doesn't really support stairs so I'm not sure what to change to fix this issue, but if I figure it out I will post an update!
Also, the problem with the sofa/fan footprint being too large and the TV not being interactable have been fixed. Redownload if you were having those issues!
Also comes with a default controller override in 3 colors! You can download that here (only pick one version).

This is beautiful and exactly the kind of stuff I need! I just really wish the footprints matched all items because some are so abysmally mismatched that trying to put things next to eachother results in everything clipping unless you alt-move everything and that really shouldn't happen with bb.moveobjects off, and sims will just walk through them because the game thinks the items are just one square big when they are not. I really wish this would be fixed, because it's otherwise a really amazing cc pack.

just wanna say thank you a lot for such adorable stuff mod💔 the idea with catalog of separate downloadings is also great, very easy and gives nostalgy vibes of old furniture catalog!!

Hi guys, if you're coming on here to ask for an update, it's just one item that is broken, which unfortunately is the couches, so just take out the "sitcom sitter set," meaning you have to download everything separately.

ive been using the the goliath entertainment centre series in a house i made and it stopped working. did 50/50 and found the lot wouldnt open with this cc.

Hi, just for anyone else that has had problems with their game crashing: I took out the TV, Gaming system, controller override and the stairs and it seems to have fixed my problem <3 (Can't be bothered rn to try each of them to find out if it's just one of the files but thought I'd share anyways ~)

Hello! Since the Feb 2025 game update, Better Exceptions is throwing LastExceptions about this set. Can you (or any other followers) confirm that it is actually working since the update please? EDIT: I had this set merged into one package, so I unmerged it and that fixed the error. I guess I won't merge things anymore :P

Hi, since the latest christmas event update, it shows the gaming console as disconnected and doesn't seem to pair no matter how close it is to the tv. The last patch added in the current reward items including a new console. This might be the issue as that patch must have moved functionality for gaming consoles from city living to base game. Could you check this out?
I'm having the same problem. The Tv with this CC pack doesn't pair with the game consoles anymore. Not even the one that comes with this CC that looks like the 1st PlayStation. I hope it's fixed soon. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. It started after the latest patch/Cozy Celebrations rewards event for me too.

Hello, I love this cc set. and I've been using it for a few months. But as of lately the wallpapers do not work. I get the rainbow background and question mark whenever I try to place any of the wall papers in this set. I'm unsure of what to do as I don't want to lose some of my builds if I uninstall the set and reinstall it. Take care folks and I'll appreciate any advice. Peace.
This may have something to do with the dx11 update vs dx9. I'm not sure by any means but you could attempt to boot your game using dx9 and see if it fixes the issue
I very much love this pack, but I noticed the stairs description takes over the description of other objects such as other base game stairs, and a few wall papers.
