Returning to Snake Pass + New Community Server

Hi everyone,

A massive thank you for the incredible support during the recent Tail of the Dragon v1.2 release. With the physics reworks and the new environmental details hopefully it will give you guys the vibe of carving through the mountains and more immersive and authentic driving experience.

Now that v1.2 is officially out in the wild, it’s time to get back to business.

Snake Pass: Development Resumes!

A few months ago, I announced that I was starting work on Snake Pass, UK. As many of you know, I had to temporarily hit the brakes on that project to focus on the v1.2 optimizations for Tail of the Dragon.

The wait is over—I am officially back in the editor and continuing development on The Snake! I’m pushing to get a first beta test ready for you as soon as possible.

New 32-Slot Test Server

To make the testing process better for everyone, I’ve rented a dedicated 32-slot server based in Germany (since most the Patrons are from Europe specially Germany).

While the first beta for Snake Pass is being prepared, the server is live running Tail of the Dragon v1.2 24/7 with 24h weather transition. Once The Snake is ready for its first shakedown, this will be a primary hub for testing and feedback.

The Car List

I seriously have no idea what car to use. I want to make sure the server is easy for everyone to join, but also fun to drive. Currently I just leaning towards using Kunos Official Cars that I think offer a good mix of performance and accessibility—something fun to drive but not too hard to control
