Visiting Degrassi Junior High — 40 Years Later

What does Degrassi Junior High feel like 40 years later?

I visited the real filming location for Degrassi Junior High in Etobicoke and filmed a tour of the school, 40 years after it first appeared on screen.

This video cuts between what it looks like today and scenes from the show filmed in those exact same spots. From the front entrance to the surrounding grounds, so much of it is still recognizable.

Unfortunately, most of the building has been torn down. Before, there was a gymnasium, fields and lots of green space around. Today, it's just the front of the building. Thank goodness those iconic steps are still there!
