Chestnut Ridge / Chestnut Station: Ancient bloodlines storylines

Some months ago, we were talking here, and I did get a sense that we didn't want to lose the connection to Native Americans and the representation they enjoyed in Maxis' Chestnut Ridge. As such, I wanted to include two storylines for Chestnut Ridge that included a Sims fantasy universe-inspired representation of the culture. Hopefully, it is respectful of their beautiful heritage while acknowledging that the fantasy save file is still only an imagined space with fantasy stories.

Meet Noya, an elder of Chestnut Station, once known as Chestnut Ridge where she grew up on a horse ranch from a prominent magic and spellcasting family. Noya has always loved horses. Affectionately known by most locals as the "Horse Whisperer," you could say that horses and ranching ran through her blood, and she has a magical and spiritual connection to them. Others regularly seek her counsel as an ancient storyteller and keeper of lore and history. To play her horse, Wild Whisper, as a familiar (for Realm of Magic gameplay), you will need the unicorn mod.

Gameplay:

1. Club gameplay: Noya is a member of the "Guardians of the Ridge" club. She would one day like to become the elder ('club leader' or completing the "Leader of the Pack" aspiration) and take her rightful place in the community.

2. Noya's family has always had a connection to the "star people". Her timeline reflects a futuristic universe where the star people have been welcomed & acknowledged in the community. Play with portals and alien friendships. Noya is currently living with a star friend and her robot dog too. How will their life as friends evolve?

3. Play Noya as a spellcaster. Let her challenge other spellcasters to duels and learn spells. Allow "Wild Whisper" to become her familiar. The copypasto and cloning spells will be very handy when ranch work starts piling up!

4. Play for Horse Ranch gameplay: breed & rescue mustangs.

Intergalactic trade with the star people: Meet Jessie, supplier to intergalactic bars, from Strangerville & Batuu to Chestnut Station & Sixam. With a penchant for the unconventional, Jessie is always on the lookout to expand her offerings. From clandestine nectar moonshine to the elusive motherplant fizzyjuice, her establishments are known for catering to the exotic tastes of those who seek the thrill of indulging in outlawed concoctions. You may even find her and her trusted robot dog among the trader tents in Oasis Spaceport. Play her story as an alien. Currently living with Noya in Chestnut Station.

Finally, meet in "My Households" tab Awena Desertbloom, Adockamorpher Whiteraven and  Atsila Nightcaster (and other households: Kaniya & Tehya, also attached to this post) members of the "Guardians of the Ridge" club: keepers of lore, protectors of the environment and ancient desert spellcasters.

This concludes all the newest storylines for Chestnut Station.
