The Elvenwood: Jordyn's macabre & magical garden

Meet macabre fairy gardener Jordyn Moon with her (scaredy-)cat, Stitches. Jordyn has a penchant for taming cowplants and is tending a magical garden filled with strange and mystical flora. While others fear the eerie and the unknown, Jordyn embraces it—welcoming spirits and ghostly creatures into her garden. With a heart equal parts fearless and nurturing, she grows what others won't, offering magical essences to industrious cooks and potioneers in the Elvenwood. Her garden is a haven for the peculiar, the haunted, and the hopeful.

Jordyn's tarot inspired storyline

Like many characters for this update, Jordyn has a tarot inspired storyline. To me, "The Star" card fits her best, but you may of course find other tarot inspiration for her as you tell her story and develop her character and gameplay (for example "The Moon" as her name suggests and perhaps as she grows older) . As a teenager, when her story begins, I like to play her as "The Star" card:

• Hope in the Darkness:
  The Star appears after The Tower in the tarot journey, symbolizing healing, renewal, and hope after chaos. Jordyn tends to a garden of ghost cowplants and strange, macabre flora—things most fear—but she sees potential in them. She represents someone who finds light in eerie places and creates life and beauty from what others avoid.

• Spiritual Connection:
  Jordyn's relationship with spirits and ghosts, and her ability to commune with the otherworldly, mirrors The Star’s themes of divine guidance and spiritual clarity. She is attuned to energies beyond the veil, offering comfort to wandering souls.

• Compassion & Vision:
  Like the figure in The Star who pours water into the earth and the stream, Jordyn nourishes not only the land but the community—creating an inclusive and caring space for ghosts, fairies, animals, and hybrids alike. She provides resources (like cowplant essences) that support others on their magical quests.

• Healing Presence:
  Her garden is not just a spooky curiosity—it’s a space of transformation and healing. The Star is about calm after the storm, and Jordyn embodies that role for the strange and misunderstood beings of Elvenwood.

Lot specifics:

Meant to represent an overgrown estate & garden where once, perhaps, there was gardening and regular cowplants. The owners abandoned the property (or perhaps got eaten by their cowplants) and it became overgrown with magical plants and life.

• Residential - 30x30 (Please follow these instructions to change the lot type to residential and avoid corruption. Always place in build mode, never from map.) Current lot in your save file will be "nightclub". To avoid lot corruption, please follow the instructions provided for how to change lot types in your save file. If you don't understand how it works, please dm me.

• Where "Club Eternity" is currently located.

Gameplay ideas for Jordyn:

• Play the "Grimtern" or Paranormal investigator career (or both)

• Hone your Paranormal skills, summon Bonehilda to help you with renovating, cleaning and looking after the estate. Help others commune with the dead. Hold seances in your garden (marked with seance symbol / circle). Become besties with Bonehilda! This one was written in the stars!

• Host weddings or funerals in your corner garden. All are welcome and both are celebrated in equal measure in Jordyn's garden.

• Garden, collect plants, ingredients and cowplant essences and use them in potions & cooking.

• Play for Cats & Dogs & Horse Ranch. Build your bond with Stitches. Tame and meet other animals in the woods or add to your own family with hippogriffs, a sixam owl or dragons. Compete with your animals (Horse Ranch) or take them to the dragon arena in Bewitchment Bay.

• Befriend ghosts and build a club or community for your "community garden" where everyone is welcome - both the weird & the wonderful.

• Complete the "Alice's Sorrow" quest (SPOILER WARNING if you click this). Find the guardian tree. In the current save, I believe she has already met Alice? She definitely has NOT completed the quest though.

• Renovate the estate, find a room mate and make fairy & ghost friends!

I hope you all enjoy playing this lot & fairy. She is inspired by a daughter of a patron (requested) and I've LOVED adding her to our lore.

Players who are playing the latest update already have Jordyn and her garden ready to play. Those who are manually updating old save files, unzip the files and place DIRECTLY in your trayfolder. They will be in your library when you load into the game.
