Ok, Scarlet explained why she was gone and what happened, but What about the two other times we saw her at the club? She was being walked , naked, by one person, then getting flogged by the vice-governor. How come her time there wasn't explained? Also you have a bad habit of beating around the bush in almost every single dialogue interaction. Just once, I would love it if someone said something about what is going on, then the other person asks about it, and the first person actually says what it is, instead of "Not right now" or "Later" or "Nevermind". Nothing ever gets explained, or answered. It's annoying as shit. AND MC should have told Scarlett he loves her at breakfast. That whole morning scene was handled badly. He should have recognized what her being in his bed meant, and she should have told him she loves him again. She should have explained why the medallion mattered to her, so he could appreciate what she did and why. I get that you are trying to be mysterious and think you have this grand plan to reveal the story later, but enough is enough. You are using this tool in your writing way too much. Tell the story, reveal some things that matter in the moment. I am saying these things because I actually care about this story. You are telling a really good story, and the scenes are top notch. You are doing great work. But your dialogue style needs some polish. Your characters spend a lot of time saying nothing when there should be less talking and more action, and tend to not say enough when it matters. There is a lot of potential here. I hope you understand my frustration is coming from a place of constructive criticism. I upped my monthly contribution, because I still believe in this project. I hope you learn to listen to those of us trying to help. Thanks fo the work you put into this.
