Child Birth Mod V1c (outdated)

added compatibility with woohoo wellness to support pregnancy wish sentiments, surrogacy, paternity module and insemination markers
Hi Guys! the child birth mod is now officially in version V1b.
Note: This mod does not work on legacy's Edition
few issues were fixed in this update:
◾ Fixed an issue that caused the "call companion" option to not show up for sims who are getting a C-section
◾Fixed an issue that caused the labor buff to appear on companion sim, they should no longer get sympathy pain after this update
◾Pregnant sim should be much less likely to keep getting on and off the exam bed repeatedly
◾Sims should now have better facial expressions during child birth
New Feature In This Update
Added the dilation, epidural and give birth option to the exam bed as well as the surgery machine, this is especially helpful for people who are experiencing lagging when playing in a large hospital. clicking on the exam bed or surgery machine to initiate the interaction should significantly reduce the time the game takes to respond

I hope by most recent file you meant the v2c version because you are commenting on an old post, if you don’t see the menu with v2c installed you likely still have an bold version of the mod installed. Do a file search and get rid of the old files
the surrogacy component doesnt seem to work with my game, i have removed all the earlier versions, but still no luck

One person reported having the same issue and it was because she had an older version of the child birth mod in the mods folder. So double check to make sure you don’t have multiple copy of the mod
How do I get a obstetrician to come to the hospital? There isn’t any there when I arrive with my sim

both files should be in the zip file. maybe try using a different software to unzip it?

i got this mod today and none of the hospital opptions are showing up i cant get an epidural or see how far dialated i am and i cant find the yoga ball and i dont know what i did wrong

Is there a cheat to speed up dilation? For when you don't want your sim to be away from home for too long.
If you shift click the surgery machine and select fully dilate it will make the give birth interaction available right away!

I am having issues with this mod. For some reason, there is no option for my sim to not gain weight after giving birth, it happens automatically. Also, how come I don't see the bouncing ball. It does not appear while I'm using this mod. Please advise.
you have to shift click the surgery machine to turn off weight gain(make sure you get the latest update), and the bouncing ball can be found in build and by by searching "yoga ball" or "pandasama"

Hello. I am having an issue. My sim has been stuck at the hospital for nearly a week. She is fully dilated, has her epidural, but the OBS wave their arms around and act like the surgery table doesn't exist. I've tried restarting the game, redownloading the mod, selling and rebuying the surgery machines, nothing is working ):

Hello! Loving the mod so far, but when my sim becomes fully dilated and the OB tells me to tell one of them to deliver the baby, that option comes up nowhere. It will only allow me to ask for dilation checking and epidural. When I click the bed it only gives me the option to treat patient but it's grayed out. Thank you in advance!
make sure there are no cc surgery machine on the lot, and shift click the surgery machine, select fully dilate to see if it fixes it

Hi pandasama! I have small but weird problem in game. My sim's boyfriend while nude has a bandage on his back which looks like the one a sim in labour gets after having an epidural. It only shows up when he's naked - I noticed it while he was skinny dipping.
thats the weirdest thing ever D : i will add a fail save in the next update to make sure this doesnt happen again. if you have mccc you can remove it by removing the buff that says epidural tape
I love this mod but with the surrogacy it still puts the baby in the family

Think I've found a bug- my sim wears the hospital gown w/o undressing!
did you select wear own clothes during child birth? if you did they will just wear whatever they are wearing before getting on the surgery machine
idk why but when i ask the ob about something the ob always displays that he cant walk there and the action cant be done and im stuck pregnant + i can no longer sleep/sit where the dilation is checked, only thing i can do is make the bed and that i cant even do cuz i cant sit in them hah, is this normal? (i kinda gave up and just made her have the baby without the mod but when the baby is in the "crib" its skin is brown and when its picked up its white like the parents again? weird?
did you sim have the beating heart icon above their head? cuz if they do then they should be able to sleep and sit on the exam bed. and the baby skin bug if unfortunately an EA bug that has existed for a while now

Thank you so much for your hard work and this update! Everything is going good until it’s time to have the baby. She’ll get on the table ready to give a natural birth, but then she just autonomously gets off and puts her gown back on. Also I got an LE report. Thank you again!

Love this mod but it doesnt seem to love me, I've done the whole process but when its time to give birth my sim doesnt complete the action, they go to the dr then go lay on the birthing machine turned bed, her gown changes to half a gown then she just lays there and the action completes, no baby. any advice would be muchly appreciated!
