This is beyond impressive. You’re incredibly gifted and dedicated. And you don’t have a team of coders working under you. You’re doing this all on your own. Which I completely respect. The sims team should take notes from modders such as yourself. If they focused on things people actually wanted over adding filler packs and just trying to get more money through ridiculous kits, then I bet the sims would be as popular as it should be. Thank you to you, and all the incredible modders like yourself, for dedicating so much time and effort into doing something so amazing..just to make the community smile. :)

i cant turn off the weight gain I don't get the option

I absolutely love this mod. Unfortunately, I have not gotten it to work for me. I can get my sim to go to the hospital when in labor, do everything involved with the labor, and get in the bed. The beginning of the birth animation plays (for both c-section and natural birth) and then the naming option comes up and there is no end to the animation. My sim glitches and the baby is just in the incubator when I come out of naming it. Then I have my sim go home, with no birth moodlet or anything. 😔

I havent updated the mod yet but since there are multiple updates, should i only download the newest one that was posted that says laundry list or each of the updates since the early access post? I LOOOOVE IT by the way :)

I love that mod <3 The first natural birth went as it should. Than I got to another Houshold and got that mother a c-section. Now she has odd makeup on her, when the process is starting. Can I change that? :)

I downloaded this, but every time I do "try for baby" the task automatically disappears when they woman and man approach each other. 😩 So I actually cant try for a baby at all.

I have the same issue. I can not make the obstetrician call. There's no such option on my phone. And yes I have downloaded the files the right way. This is upsetting.

I have been trying for 2 days to get this mod to work! I have tried taking out individual mods, I have tried everything I could think of. Nothing seems to work! I appreciate the work you've done and put into this, but I just don't understand why it won't work for me.

I love the mod so far! What is the timeline (roughly) for the introduction of home birth and water birth (home or hospital)? I would love for my sim to labor and birth at home but I know this might be a long time coming.

Hey there! Love this mod, thank you so much for all your hard work on it. It's fantastic. I was just wondering about the new 'wear own clothing' feature; does it have to be a particular type of outfit? Like with a top and bottom for the birth animation to work? Or will the animation just not be seen if they are in their own clothing?

hey! so i selected c section got to the hospital and got epidural, then it forced my sim to the delivery table, a doctor was there then walked off, there was no animation it just popped up to name my babies (twins if that matters?) not sure why it skipped over the entire animation :( she was only dialated 1cm so idk why it forced her to the table so fast.

Hey, I know you're swamped so I'll try to be brief. I messaged a bit ago about the "Ask to check dilatation" interaction causing my game to freeze. I just wanted to update and share that this only happens in the large, 4-story + Basement modified hospital I was using. The interaction still works fine in the hospital as-is created for Get to Work, which leads me to think none of my other mods are conflicting. I modified the large hospital to 2-Story + Basement and the interaction still froze the game for about 5min, but did eventually work. Something related to building size or number of items seems to be interfering with the interaction maybe? It made me curious if there was anything in the mod's code having to do with searching for the nearest bed to perform the action on, and if it scans all the beds to do this, which might be causing the freezing? I would have no idea what I'm looking at if I even knew how to look at it myself, but just wondering, when your time permits! Still loving this fantastic mod and just want to be able to use it in an updated hospital! Thanks so much for your hard work on it!

So all the new features of the update worked fine for me, like my Sim being able to wear her own clothes and being able to call her companion Sim, but for some reason the birth animation didn't play out this time when it has all the previous times my Sims had children. She just laid in the bed with the obstetrician next to her and then all of a sudden the name choosing prompt came up and the birth was over. Not sure if it was just a fluke but unfortunately my household is at 8 Sims now so I can't try again for a bit

No matter what I do, this mod will not work for me. I have many mods in as well, is there anything else that conflicts with this? My sims will just sit around and the game time will stop moving

Question: Does this version include the optional "do not gain weight"? Not too pressing a matter because I can just go experiment in game over the next few days, but I was curious since I didn't see it explicitly.

Oh! Thank you for removing the ghosts, I was so creeped out. You are the best for working consistently and so dedicatedly to this and all your other mods. Much appreciation going forward.

I'd like a water birth and home birth. Not many women do these because they are looked down upon. But to have them in a birthing mod for those who play may be a great experience. And maybe help them consider changing their minds on those types of births. 🥰

Have you considered a home birth or water birth? I love this MOD & see so much potential in it as well.

All very nice though I'm going to miss the ghost obstetrician if I'm honest. One of my favorite sims I made to represent an old friend is a nurse IRL so I made him an MD in the sims. He passed on but as a ghost delivered at least 3 of my kiddos which was actually sort of fun. Totally get why folks would not be a fan though (and I am NOT asking to consider having it added back or anything, promise!!!)

When will you add the home birth?
