Modding Diary - Onesie Fix & Health Exam

Hi guys! hope you all are doing well! ☺️

First of all this week I looked into the bug where moving a baby will cause them to return to the default outfit. I was able to fix it once again with a script, now the game saves the original onesie and put it back on them once they are in the new stroller/bassinet. I still need to do some more play testing to make sure it is stable and doesn't make my save explode but so far so good!

and if you remove the onesie it gets returned to your inventory exactly the way they were

The other thing I did was putting the baby health exam animation in the game. And oh look! the baby changed back to their default outfit again after travelling 😑guess my job is not done yet, the suffering never ends, problem for next week's me

anyways when the baby is on the table you can click on them to start physical exam

both sims will go up to the table and sit down exactly like it was written in my stick figure prophecy

the doctor will turn to the baby

grab the and put them in a sitting position,

examine their head/face

and they will put the baby back and listen to their heart/lungs with the stethoscope. and look its not a bluetooth stethoscope this time

finally they will say a few more words to the parent sim and the animation ends

you will get a notification if everything looks good

and you will get one of 3moodlets
