Modding Diary - Funeral Activities

unfortunately the pregnancy bug from the enchanted by nature patch still hasnt been fixed :(, you can read more about it here https://www.patreon.com/posts/patch-v1-116-202-133050085 until it's fixed the childbirth mod is still going to experience issues. some people have reported that manually setting the pregnancy trimester in mccc helps, its worth a try until EA addresses the issue.
now lets move on to the modding diary!
I worked on a number of things the past few weeks! 馃
first of all you will be able to dedicate the casket, the funeral photo and the funeral stand to the baby. I also made a number of funeral activities BGC and you will be able to perform these activities on the casket, the funeral photo and the gravestone. I will only be using the casket to showcase the interactions today
moment of silence
toast
light candles
in the place flower interaction your sim will just walk up to the casket and place down a rose. sims can place a total of 14 flowers on the casket and they may do so autonomously
in the say goodbye interaction sim will kneel down next to the casket
take a deep breath and lower their head
sob quietly
and that is all I have for now! I will finalize the funeral interaction next week, work on the death for the pregnant sim and figure out how im going to handle still birth in pregnancies with multiple babies 馃frankly ive no idea what im gonna do right now or what is even possible but that's a problem for future me

I cant wait for this ever since the update my sims had our firsst msscarrage we lost a baby girl through littlemisssam and i am patiently waiting for the update so i can be ready
Heya. I'm looking for a mod to improve babies in sims 4 where babies are not objects. Apparently you have a Better Babies mod add on to the childbirth package. Is this still available? Where can I find it? I'm new to modding.
I am going to take my chances with using this mod even with that bug. I miss it too much. I have MCCC, so I can adjust the pregnancy progression and all that. I miss the breast pumping feature and the fact that Sims don't immediately go back to their normal size. This mod is a wonder in so many ways.
The Spanish update for the Childbirth Mod Midwifery v1.86 by Pandasama is now available.
Just let everyone know, the sims has another update today i believe, where they have addressed the pregnancy issue. So your sims should be able to get pregnant again and take a test
It's such a shame ea have done this with pregnancy, you are the reason panda while I play the sims still. My game play is always around pregnancy and I could never go back too the old way. I haven't played since they did the update and got rid of pregnancy. I'm sure I am not the only one here. You're work is simply just stunning panda and I've never known a mod to have such good updates. You have saved the sims 4 in so many ways.
I love this mod so much that I stg I鈥檓 gonna fight the sims devs for fucking up the game so much that it nearly destroyed this mod. I will fight for you bestie, I can鈥檛 play my game without this mod

This is really beautiful and I can tell you approached it very carefully馃挏馃(Also yes I can confirm for me, manually changing the trimester in MCCC fixes the bug for now. I do 3 day pregnancy so I just wait 24 sim hours and then change it in MCCC! Hopefully there's a patch soon)

This is just a work in progress report, it's not ready to download yet. If you want to download the mod now click on their profile and find the Childbirth Mod post and the link will be there. (Stillbirth won't be in the mod because they haven't finished it yet)
I can't wait until EA get it together, fixing everything needed to be fixed. I've been trying to play this mod in my gameplays, specifically to play the midwife career and so money things are not showing up to show me what the different tasks are for me to complete and when my sim goes to work, she she gets stuck at work and unable to go home and she also unable to complete the tasks, because the task bar does show up at the screen nor in the career panel. I know that you said that there will be some issues playing the mod because, of EA tuning, so I'm understanding to your frustrations and I'm playing around the issues until further notice.

Love this mod!! I can't believe EA thought it'd be a good idea to remove the pregnancy thing from the background and without notice and think it would go over well with Simmers and Modders lol. I'm so happy to be able to finally give you some support that you most definitely deserve 馃挀.
