How to Access & Download My Builds
I often get the question: “How do I get the download link?” – Here’s a clear overview of how everything works.
Accessing Your Builds
If you’re subscribed to a tier that includes build access, simply let me know which build you’d like: leave a comment under the post or send me a private message. I’ll reply with your personal one-time download link.
If a download link expires or doesn’t work, please message me again. I’m happy to resend it.
What’s Included Based on Your Tier

You can browse public builds using the filters: All Patreons / Free / Public.Essential
Access to 1 build per month of your choice.Edition

To receive your builds, simply message me with your selection.
Before You Download
My builds often use custom content (CC) created by other talented creators. Some builds may include Patreon-exclusive CC from those creators. If you want the build to look exactly like in the screenshots, please make sure to download:
the full CC folder
the required CC list
screenshot CC, if listed separately (you find them in the download folder)
Installation Guide
Download the CC folders and unzip the files
Place all .package files into:
Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / ModsDownload and unzip the tray files I send you
Place all tray files into:
Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / TrayStart the game and enable bb.moveobjects
In your library, enable Include Custom Content
Place the lot and enjoy 🤍
A Note on Older Builds & CC
All builds are tested at the time of release. However, game updates and changes to custom content can sometimes cause issues, especially in older builds. With a large library of builds, it isn’t always possible to update every older build immediately. This doesn’t mean the builds are abandoned — it simply reflects realistic limits.
If you notice that many CC links of one specific build no longer work, please message me. I’m always happy to take a look and update what I can.
Before downloading older builds, I recommend checking:
the release or update date
notes in the description
This helps avoid confusion and disappointment.

Clear credit is required whenever you share content featuring my builds. Please mention that the build was created by katesimblr and tag me when possible.
Reuploading, redistributing, or sharing my tray files on forums, websites, file hosts, Telegram groups, or under a different name is not permitted.
Screenshots and videos are always welcome — I genuinely love seeing how my builds are used, as long as proper credit is given.
Due to the digital nature of the content, all memberships and digital purchases are non-refundable.

Hi! No, all of my builds are very CC-heavy, as that’s simply part of my building style. The CC always needs to be downloaded separately from the original creators, as I only provide the Tray Files. 🤍
I came here on advice from ChatGPT, believe it or not, but hated to see that you keep content locked behind paywalls. It sent me to a post from 2022, which is still locked. SMH!
Hi! I think there may be a little misunderstanding here. 🤍 I actually offer a selection of my builds completely free through CurseForge, and I continue to add new ones there. Older builds on my Patreon may remain part of my paid archive. Maintaining, updating and supporting builds from several years ago takes a considerable amount of time, and as a mom, working professional and self-employed creator, I have to decide where I invest that time. My priority is usually creating new content rather than completely rebuilding and updating older releases to republish them for free. I completely understand that paid content isn't for everyone, and that's absolutely okay. There are many wonderful creators with different ways of sharing their work, so everyone can choose what works best for them. 🤍

Hi Akida Doo, first of all, thank you so much for your support! I just checked your membership, and I can see that you're currently subscribed to the Edition tier. This tier includes two archive builds per month, but it doesn't include access to my complete archive. If you'd like access to all of my archive builds, you'll need to upgrade to the Archive tier. 🤍
I hear you paywall CC from creators who state in their T.O.U to NOT do that. That's not okay.
Hi 🤍 I actually spend a lot of time making sure I respect every creator's TOU. That's also why I link so much CC instead of simply including everything, even though I'm often criticized for it because it makes downloading more work for my customers. If I've unintentionally violated a creator's TOU anywhere, please let me know which creator and which build you're referring to. I'll gladly look into it and correct it immediately if necessary. Respecting other creators and their work is very important to me, and I always do my best to make sure I'm following their terms. 🤍

All required CC is always listed and linked under each house post so you can download it directly from the original creators, in line with their terms of use. Hi Kiana, thank you for your comment. I just want to clarify a few things: I don’t see any payment history or chat with you under this account, so I honestly wonder where you might have received a download link from. For all genuine purchases, the process is always the same: each customer receives a personal folder link which stays open until everything has been downloaded. Afterwards the link is closed – partly because I can’t provide unlimited storage for every individual order, but even more importantly to avoid the files being shared and spread around. So to answer your question: no, you don’t have to keep paying to maintain access – once the files are downloaded, they are yours forever. If you believe you purchased under a different email/account, please feel free to contact me privately with those details and I’ll be happy to look into it 💛
