🌿✨ MIDSOMMAR – A Swedish Summer Tale ✨🌿

I'm beyond happy to finally share this very special project with you – a deeply heartfelt collaboration between me and the incredibly talented @simsshira that brings the warmth, light, and nostalgia of a Swedish summer to your Sims worlds.

Together, we’ve created a little seasonal escape that celebrates the essence of Midsommar – one of the most beloved traditions in Sweden, filled with nature, family, joy, and the quiet magic of light that lingers into the night.

🌸 What is Midsommar?
Midsommar is more than just a holiday – it’s a feeling. A celebration of the summer solstice, deeply rooted in Scandinavian culture.
Families and friends gather in the countryside, flower crowns are woven, food is shared on long wooden tables, and people dance around the maypole to honor nature, love, and the longest day of the year. It’s a time of play, poetry, lightness – and deep connection.

This collab is our small tribute to that gentle beauty. 🌞

🏡 Mysig Stuga – Red Summer Cottage in the Swedish Countryside
Nestled between blooming meadows and birch trees, Mysig Stuga is a cozy red cottage filled with warmth and character – a slow living family home designed to feel lived-in and loved.

Outside, linen sways gently on the clothesline, geese wander curiously past the rustic bathtub-turned-splash-pool, and a small wooden shed offers space for gardening or quiet crafting.
Inside, your Sims will find a wood-fired stove in the kitchen, an old-fashioned laundry room, two lovingly decorated kids’ rooms (including a dreamy nursery), two bathrooms, a sunny handcraft room, and even a small art studio. Balconies and terraces invite the outside in, making this a perfect retreat for a quiet summer life.

🌿 Midsommar – Traditional Swedish Celebration Lot | 30x30 Forest Glade
This forest glade is designed for joy. At the heart stands a traditional majstång (maypole), surrounded by flowers, candles, and summer magic.
There’s a festive table full of cakes, strawberries, and refreshing drinks. A cozy outdoor cinema waits for twilight, while children play in the treehouse or swing beneath fairy lights.

Tents and a vintage campervan turn this lot into a midsummer campsite. Picnic blankets, a crackling fire, and soft music create the perfect backdrop for storytelling, dancing, or just watching the stars.

It’s the ultimate place for your Sims to gather, celebrate, and make memories.
