UNCENSORED ACCESS: The Evil Dead

This may be a hot take & I haven’t seen the newest, but in my opinion, this is the weakest movie in the franchise. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t have the iconic charm of the subsequent two films & the new ones have really solid effects that are mostly practical & usually add new ideas to the proceedings. If you ask me the 2013 Evil Dead is basically this movie, but improved.

If I remember correctly the reason for the skip was Evil Dead 2 is just Evil Dead but with a bigger budget and a refined story.

I know you don't have a lot of time for shows on the channel, but if you _really_ want to finish off this series, and not on the first installment, you should watch the TV show "Ash vs. Evil Dead". It's fun, it's funny, it stars Bruce Campbell plus bonus Lucy Lawless, the episodes are short and easy to watch, and it wraps up Ash's story. As a fan of the Evil Dead franchise, I very much enjoyed it.

Please watch Evil Dead Rise

this is a classic, Army of Darkness is my favorite though
