REDO- HALLOBEANS
okay sorry for the confusion.
I totally forgot that one of last year's Hallobeans winners requested I watched Urban Legend this year in night vision. I've also seen all your comments about needing to watch Happy Death 2 U soon - so I remember everything (plus I loved the first one a lot and I Think you're going to enjoy that reaction)
SO 10/26 Urban Legend.
10/28 Happy Death Day 2 U
10/30 THIS POLL
This is the last night vision movie of Hallobeans and I want to BE SCARED.
I've seen your comments about Obsession being a good Valentine's Day movie and that weapons isn't really a night vision movie - I'm more than happy to move that to November (because I still want to see it)
The scariest ones for me this hallobeans have been Paranormal activity, Insidious, and A Quiet Place. NOT SAYING YOU HAVE TO PICK THOSE SEQUELS just helping you choose something along those lines to scare the SHIT OUTTA ME

Off topic, but I just saw that Eva Marie Saint passed away at 102 years old. Any chance we could finally get a reaction to Hitchcock's North By Northwest? It's one of her most famous roles and an absolutely iconic film. Plus, it would bring Ashley one step closer to being able to "get" Mel Brooks's High Anxiety.
Ugh Urban Legend is not a night vision movie. It’s basically Scream by Temu lol. What a waste of a night vision slot.
I can see why someone would say to save Obsession for Valentine's, given the premise and the marketing team's use of Valentine's to share teasers, etc., so the argument can be made that it is a Valentine's movie. However, it is still a horror/thriller, so if you don't go into it expecting a cute/sappy romance, you should be good. I love horror movies sprinkled throughout the year and not just in October, so waiting for you to see it in Feb works for me.
What about The Ninth Gate?
I looked at this poll, left out sequels, (I still need to catch up on the ones already posted), and thought... Scary. So I voted for Smile.
After gallons you should totally watch Project Hail Mary!! Please Ashleigh
Oh please watch Invisible man! It’s soo good!
Yah, Obsession is not a good Valentines movie. I'm assuming people had to have been joshing with you about that.
Sorry to read that Eve Marie Saint passed away yesterday, at 102.
You absolutely have to watch the movie: HOST!!!!!
WHO SAID WEAPONS IS NOT FOR NIGHT VISION?!?!?
Right? There are plenty of jumpscares.
Girl no obsession is not a romantic movie it would have won the poll because its a horror movie, weapons as well this isn't fair because people are trolling hard. and we all voted it to win for the right reasons. now your expectations are going to be warped by the time you see it. I don't understand why people have to be such douchebags EDIT: sorry, i got heated
Freaky from 2020 is connected to the Happy Death Day universe by the way. I would keep that in mind for February maybe too.
Watch smile you will not regret it!
Backrooms is definitely an anytime movie. I know Ashleigh is a gamer but I have no idea if she's familiar with the Escape The Backrooms game. It doesn't really matter since the Backrooms lore goes back even further. It's a good movie, but more psychological than scary.
I got real excited when I saw Host on here until I realized it is not the one I was thinking of. I was hoping it was the 2006 Bong Joon-Ho monster film but that one is called The Host. I hope one day Ashleigh will watch it because Joon-Ho makes great films such as this one, Snowpiercer, Okja, and Parasite.
Though: of this list, if Sinister can't win- Smile is definitely the best movie. Along with Evil Dead Rise *or* Burn.
It’s too bad that Evil Dead Rise isn’t scary enough though it is good. But you should definitely watch the 2013 remake of Evil Dead first, next year.
I swear, SINISTER (2012) is the one for Ashleigh. It is not only actually scary, it will freeze your blood. Why is everyone not recommending this movie? This is THE one.
I want you to see Backrooms but it's not scary enough. Watch it in January. Start the new year off with something fun.😉😉
I'm so sad Paranormal Activity 3 isn't getting more votes but honestly this list is stacked so 🫶🎃
If quiet place was number one for you then you should definitely watch the second one
Personally, I think Invisible Man would be a slam dunk here, but I also haven't seen Smile yet.
Did I miss her reaction video to the 2013 Evil Dead? D:
haven't seen it - was that first???
Hey, just a small side note for anyone on the "Hot Mess Express" that enjoyed Backrooms, give the film Exit 8 a shot. It is a foreign film, so there are subtitles to deal with, but fight through that for like 15-20 minutes because after that there really isn't much dialog at all. It has a very similar feel to Backrooms and is at least as good in my opinion. Ok, carry on then. Peace.
INVISIBLE MAN PLEASE YALL!!!!! ASHLEIGH WILL LOVE AND I MOST DEFO RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT WATCHED!!!
Obsession is not a valentine's movie haha, it's scary, BUT I would agree that it's not a nightvision movie, and not as scary as the some others listed on this poll. But pretty please do watch Obsession (and Weapons) soon :D From this list, I would place Insidious 2 on top.. Conjuring is a good contender. Smile was decent too. A Quiet Place 2 is meh.
Awww, y'all are sleeping on HOST, but Smile is also really good
Smile and The Invisible Man remake are the only ones that really fit the bill here.
Smile 1000%
Oh definitely watch Host! It’s so slept on!!! That one was actually scary. Might make you think Paranormal Activity & Blair Witch were a stroll in the park.
Thanks for this recommendation. This has been on my list to watch for awhile now and you just reminded me and now I will move it up said list, so thanx dude.
I think Basic Instinct will be the perfect Valentine's Day movie to watch.
And Fatal Attraction
Obsession as a Valentine's day movie is actually sickening what's wrong with you guys?
I asked this not 2 mins ago. There are plenty of misleading trolls in these communities and it is as you say sickening. 😒
