You always forget you watched “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy which is pure fantasy. (And which also had Ned’s actor Sean Bean playing Boromir.) Harry Potter is also a fantasy series. Can’t wait for “They Live”!

Hell yeah! They Live! My favorite John Carpenter film.

I know Ashleigh says she has a hard time retaining all the information, but I genuinely think she has been doing a pretty great job. High fantasy can come at you pretty fast, but this show is so good at reinforcing important information. In my opinion, she has been putting the pieces together pretty damn well.

Here is a possible explanation of the jackass, honeycomb, dwarf joke. A Lord hired a wizard to grant 3 wishes. First he wanted his enemy turned into a jackass. Then he wants his wife's home fit for a queen. The wizard gives him a honeycomb. Third he wants his manhood to hang to his knees. The wizard turns him into a dwarf! Of course the Lord needs a drink!

The episode kept going out of sync with playback for me, with Ashleigh's version repeatedly getting ahead of the watch-along. I hope this was an isolated issue on my end, but if not, I'm sure you would want to know. I could only make it through half the episode before stopping from having to keep resyncing.

you use streaming or physical (dvd)? If physical, it could be an fps issue. If streaming it should synch fine. If not then I'm not sure why. Others have more experience, but I've never had streaming be out of synch unless from 2 different platforms. GoT is (as far as I know) ONLY on HBO MAX.
