I can promise you will never get tired of the intro lol. I have watched this whole series three times and I still get pumped hearing it. Its right up there with Buffy and Angel for me.
Something in the sound design I never noticed before is that during the latter part of the sword lesson foley effects of the sounds of metal swords are added. I suppose only people who have fenced with both would notice.
I noticed it the first time I watched it (last week!) and thought it was a cool effect. It added to both the excitement in Arya’s eyes and the apprehension in her dad’s eyes.
There have been a lot of unexpected and shocking deaths so far this year.
