WATCH ALONG: Supernatural S1 E5

Two thoughts on this ep. One is kind of a head canon. Everyone jumps to murder between the dad and mom, but poison is more often used by women. I kind of wonder if he maybe covered up her suicide, telling the girls it was accidental. Never clarified. All we know is a secret was involved. Dean probably had dozens of secrets around death. Unlike Sam, Dean had hunted alone and they don't really debrief after solo hunts, so by Mary's loose standards, those secrets qualify. This was one of the only episodes to truly creep me out. I don't scare easy and am still on the hunt for a movie that does scare me. This episode did well and still mostly holds up on creepiness level.

Damn. Poor Sam. That's rough. :(
