WATCH ALONG: Supernatural S1 E4

I love this episode. Their first real test with adding more humor than just Dean one liners. Jensen loves when he gets to play Dean scared, just because it is so out of character. Jerry's first haunting was at his house. So he just has bad luck. Sam wasn't taking it personal, except that his dad was apparently able to access his phone and was still out of contact with both of them. I was already so protective of Dean by this episode that Sam's ribbing at Dean this episode irritated me so much. It was the pride on Dean's face as he showed off his EMF machine (showing he is very smart and skilled, despite not following an academic path) and just how crushed he was when Sam mocked it. Jensen is amazing at playing this strong tough guy, and then suddenly you see the traumatized child in his eyes. I am obsessed 😅 I forgave Sam, of course, but obviously I am a Dean girl. Some technical notes: Oxygen masks do work. They carry about 10-14 minutes of oxygen, just enough to give pilots time to get the plane to a height with breathable air. It isn't pumped through, but is actually a chemical reaction. "Christo" is Christ in Latin. "Dei" is God. The 3oz liquid rule started in September, 2006, as the second season started.

I'm a nervous flyer too. I'm fine once we're up in the air, but the takeoff and landing are the worst. I literally have to distract myself so I don't get anxious and even then I'm still on edge. Airplanes do get his by lightning, but it's not very often, like once or twice a year. But the aluminum they're made of is an excellent conductor, so when/if it is struck it's safely discharged into the air and doesn't go in the cabin. Doesn't make it less scary though. LOL.. Flying during a rain storm is the WORST for me. I've only done it a couple times and I was white knuckled the whole time.

Ash, the masks only come down if there is a loss in pressure so that they didn't deploy was normal.
