While it sounds silly, there really was a “Satanic Panic” in the 80’s and early 90’s. Look it up if you have time. Certain people will believe anything if the narrative is pushed far enough and by the right outlets. I love how the show incorporates real inspirations and ideas from the 80’s. Especially the music. I love their song choices! Angela is such a bitch and while violence isn’t the answer, she deserved it. lol
I'm not gonna lie....I got satisfactory on seeing Angela get hit with that roller skate (i got triggered from being bullied myself). Having grown up in the 80's and 90s bullying was horrible (still is with internet included now). You had no one really. seemed everybody rode with the bullies or too scared to be casted out/become the target if you stood up against it. The ONLY way to stop the bully is to get physical with them. I bet (if this was real life) angela would never bully anybody again. if anything, she's lucky eleven didn't have her powers...she would've gotten worse like the last bully from season 1. And may I point out Ashley....you said that the roller skate was too much but you hope she died lmao. It's totally fair i get it. I'm not attacking you in any way. I laughed when you said that (the hoping she died) and then laughed again when she got hit with the roller skate and you said she should've just punched her. it's all good though this show will make your emotions all over the place lol. Either way love the reaction.
I was severely bullied in middle school and high school. I finally snapped and punched the guy who was doing it at the time. Wouldn't you know that finally people stopped coming after me. Which is why I get such satisfaction at that scene.
