FIRST TIME WATCHING: Widow's Bay S1E1
Hey folks!
So excited to be starting this new show with y'all. I have to say, after only one episode, I already see what the hype is about. There's just something so satisfying about a dark comedy with a cast of really quirky characters, and the mysterious elements already have me hooked. Can't wait to go on this new journey with you.
Also, I SWEAR that I recognized Stephen Root as the guy from Office Space, but I gaslit myself while watching the show into believing I was wrong so I didn't say anything! Haha 😂
Thank you so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, take care and stay golden! ✨

So glad that you're watching Widow's Bay! Plus it gives me the perfect excuse for a rewatch haha
Hi guys, can you confirm if this show is worth paying for Apple TV to see it? At present I do not have Apple TV and thought I may save this for a time when we have other shows to watch on Apple TV?
Excited to check this one out with all of you. I do love a spooky, small town mystery! This is giving me some Twin Peaks vibes.
Yes! This show is so fun
LOVE my girl Trish so bad!!! 😭 and it’s rare to find a horror comedy that actually manages to be both hilarious and actually terrifying 😅 cant wait to see the rest of the reactions
This was my favorite show of the year and I haven't seen anyone do a reaction to it yet. I am excited to do this rewatch
Nice... Thanks! And how about From or Dark after?
It would amazing if she did FROM. I haven't seen any other reactors do it yet and it is perfect for reactions.
Audio is clipping! In OBS you can right click your Microphone - filters - add compressor - this will equalize your highs and lows so the audio doesnt peak and scratch! Ratio: 4 Threshold: -22 Attack: 6 Release: 60ms Output Gain: 0 - can adjust as needed Try it out and listen back think youll like the results :)
I did know he was from Office Space, but most recently I recognized him from HBO's Barry (which is an absolutely phenomenal show by the way)
Stephen Root is phenomenal and a great character actor. He's great in Justified as well as a loony toon judge (a character clearly inspired by Elmore Leonards Maximum Bob).
Dale Dicky who plays Rosemary is in a lot of stuff. And I mean a lot. She's great supporting actor. Very funny in her recurring guest role in My name is Earl. And terrific and scary in Winter's Bone (great film, highly recommended). Everyone is so good in Widow's Bay, but Kate O'Flynn as Patricia might be the MVP of the show (which says a lot with how good Stephen Root and Matthew Rhys is). Can't hardly wait til episode 4!
This show was such a nice surprise the first time I saw it and it's just as much fun on a rewatch. Patricia is the best.
Kate O'Flynn as Patricia is the MVP of the show and that says a lot given how great everyone is in this.
Another AppleTV banger. Pluribus shall have its day.
Pluribus is so good, a shame it doesn't get more buzz.
Hope there will be some Buffy this week too though.
Next episode on Thursday 😊
Glad to start this show with you from the start. I hope this doesn't get in the way of more Buffy though.
This show is so good!! And funny ! And scary !
Damn. What a great addition. I haven’t seen too many reactors cover this so this should be a treat.
I wanted to rewatch this show and now I have the perfect excuse!
Happy Tuesday Nat. I haven't watched any of this show so I'm looking forward to seeing watching it with you. I read it was a mystery, so I'm intrigued 😊 hehe this was a lot of fun. Elements of The Fog and The Mist but with a comic twist. A good cast of oddball characters as well. I look forward to seeing how the story goes. Safe travels Nat. Have an awesome week 😊
