Loving your Buffy vids, dude! Just a little note about when people fall into cold water, like Buffy did, even if they're a strong swimmer, cold water shock can be a killer. Angel jumping in after her makes a lot more sense when we're aware of that!

One of the Slayers lesser-used powers is “prophetic dreams” - it pops up every now and again when the plot needs it, and tbh it’s entertaining every time It’s also a Buffy guarantee that if it’s her birthday, you KNOW some bullsit is about to happen
“Surprise” is the first episode without the “Once in a generation..” opening narration!! Already letting you know that things are about to change 😭 Shaking the table is an understatement, the whole show shifts with this episode 😮💨 Xander and Cordelia and Oz and Willow taking shape, Jenny becoming a bigger player on the board, you love to see it until you don’t! And Angelus… oof Her uncle killed that performance tho “ONE MINUTE OF HAPPINESS IS ONE MINUTE TOO MUCH!!”

The epiosde that started the tradition of all of Buffys birthdays being awful expericences that leave her with trauma. I can relate my 12th birthday i broke my hand my 27th i had covid and my 30th i had to spend it prepairing for a job interview (few suffered like me and Buffy) Also Buffy shares her Birthday with producer Dolly Parton.
I think it's the first episode that made you cry, I do know it won't be the last.

Hi Natalie! Yes, this one had to be a two part watch because it's a huge swing in the Angel - Buffy arc. Just when you see Angel at his most tender is when he loses his Soul again. Remember when you were really curious about what Bad Angel was like? Well you get what you wished for. Cheers! Dave PS- The Buffy Surprise Birthday Party is one of my favorite scenes. They're wearing tiny hats, Cordelia comes out of a cake, and Oz says, " Yeah, that explains a lot".
The episodes all of us Buffy fans have been desperately waiting for.
