FIRST TIME WATCHING: Beetlejuice

Tim Burton also did Batman and Batman Returns.. with Michael Keaton as Batman.

How long have you been a "reactor" and you never saw Beetlejuic? Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is next watch. Yes, there's a 2024 sequel. Catharine O Hara's last film

You should watch next the Addams family, I believe you'll enjoy it

Edward Scissorhands is pretty great Nat, and would work well during either Halloween or Christmas/Hanukkah if you wanted to react.

I saw this movie so many times in theaters as a kid my dad refused to take me anymore lol. I had to tell him I was going to see a different movie then snuck into it. I think Edward Scissorhands would be a cool one to react to

18 seconds in and she has already said it twice.

Nat, have you not seen the Michael Keaton Batman films? They were directed by Tim Burton and they're great.

The sequel, though not as good as this, is also very funny and has more of Beetlejuice in it. It's very funny and might have a few more laugh out loud moments. Let's just say that MacArthur Park (the song) has an important moment and in the funniest way since Weird Al's parody.

burtons done some good live action films, Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp is another that would be great for spooky season. i love his two BAtman films with Batman Returns being my favorite chrismas movie (yes a Batman christmas film its awesome) they're worth watching for the vibe alone and Keaton as Batman and some unhinged villian performances. Another film he did which i think is underrated is Big Fish starring Ewan McGregor about a father and son reconnecting. after Sweeny Todd however he doesnt seem to have made anything great though, that said ive yet to see the second Beetlejuice.

the wedding is absolutely "inappropriate" -- but then again, this is the guy (Burton) who went on to make a film called Corpse Bride, so...

You said that you didn't watch most of Tim Burtons live action movies? So you never saw Batman 1989 or the second one? Highly recommend (and of course I would love) a reaction of these movies from you in the future. Micheal Keaton was Batman in those films and we have great performances from Jack Nicholson as Joker and Danny DeVito as the Penguin!

Next Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (part 2) also directed by Tim Burton. It is not at the level of the first one but still a realy nice movie for spoky october!

Nat, no disrespect at all, but where did you grow up that you don’t even know the cast of Beetlejuice 😅 💚🖤 Sorry, you are awesome, and I so appreciate watching my favorite childhood media with you. The score, by the way, is done by Danny Elfman. He’s a very famous and influential composer who has done most of Tim’s movies. You’d recognize A LOT of his work.

Here is a cool fun fact: Michael Keaton’s real name is Michael Douglas. He was forced to use Keaton as stage name due to the extremely famous actor of the same name. Michael Keaton is one of the rare major stars to appear in 2 consecutive Best Picture Oscar winners (BIRDMAN (2014) and SPOTLIGHT (2015)). BIRDMAN is a must watch, especially since it is a dark comedy about an actor in showbiz.

Winonaaaaaa!

“IT’S SHOWTIME”

Just said Natalie, Natalie, Natalie! and your video showed up 😆 Happy Feature Friday. This is such a fun movie to watch on a Friday evening. Michael Keaton is just manic, and the rest of the cast all get onboard with the zaniness. And Danny Elfman's score is perfect. hehe this was an awesome reaction Nat. I really enjoyed watching along with you today. So cool that you never knew anything about it and it was fun watching you see it all unravel 😄 Hope some day we'll get to see Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns on your channel. Thanks as always for all your awesome work this week Nat 💛
