Hey folks!
So glad to see more of Giles, even if this episode had a sadder ending than I was hoping for.

My favorite part of this episode is the developing father daughter relationship between Giles and Buffy. Giles is the good dad she deserves. Even when he’s not at his best.
Does she not display the whole video or the show
Robin Sachs, the actor for Ethan Rayne, is really good in his portrayal. I've always like Ethan. I forget if you've reacted to it, but Sachs also played Saris, the lead villain in Galaxy Quest.
one punch man
The thumbnails weren’t always headshots, that’s been a recent change. I have no idea why
So glad we're doing Loki S02. You're gonna regret listening to the haters and not finishing sooner.
“I really want a nice, fun time… alright, this episode is called ‘The Dark Age’.” 😭😭😭
Love a Giles-centric episode, and we finally get to see his dope house! I also love how much you ship Jenny and Giles 🥹 mum and dad have hit a rough patch but I BELIEVE IN LOVE!!! The idea of the demon being unable to possess Angel because he already has a demon inside of him is kind of amazing and hilarious 😅 I’m so glad you’re enjoying the show and getting into the vibeeee 🥹🫶🏼 there’s a generational run of episodes incoming, I’m both excited and scared for you girl
I voted for two episodes of Buffy so you can get to the really good bits faster to see why we all ride or die the series, but will not be disappointed if Loki Season 2 wins because it's worth it just for last scene of the series!
i love how Giles back story is just John Constantine from the DC Helblazer comics, punk rocker in england falls into the occult and failed to exorcise a demon that lead to a death. Except Giles got his life together while John never did. Constantine is interesting if you ever want to check it out theres a film with Keanu Reeves that isnt very faithful but is fun in its own right and an excellent TV series from the 2010s that was very faithfull but got the firefly treatment and was cancelled half a season in though that Constantine got to show up in other DC TV shows to wrap his story. also a gender flipped verion in the Netflix series The Sandman played by my favorite Doctor Who companion Jenna Coleman who got some spin off buzz but theres been no word since Sandman wrapped up so likely not.
Buffy comforting Giles in the final scene of this episode is such a nice moment.
There are some interesting twists and turns coming up. If you're on Disney Plus I would caution you not to look at the episode cards, apparently spoiling major twists isn't something they care about on the Disney+ episode descriptions.
Cordelia has some of the funniest lines. "It was a one way street - I was going one way!"
Great episode! Loved to see the Ripper in action.
I'm surprised you've never seen one of those mobile blood donation vans. Most blood is stored separate from hospital stock. Blood banks can store red blood cell for up 6 weeks and they can separate the blood components more efficiently. They tend to service multiple hospitals.
Natalie, DON'T read this comment .... SPOILERS ... I feel really bad, I think Nat is gonna get hit hard in ep 17 after what she was saying in this episode.
Happy "Buffy" Thursday, Natalie! 😊 One of my favorite Giles centered episodes. As we learn more about his past before becoming a Watcher. Next week's episode is one of my favorites of the season. Have a great day today! Stay Golden! 💛
Another episode of Buffy with Nattie. Can't remember what happens in this one so I'm intrigued to watch it again with you today. Oh boy, you were definitely in the darkness with your tv reactions this week Nat. Hopefully something lighter for next week. Angel is always around when you need him haha 😀
