FIRST TIME WATCHING: X-Men '97 S2E5

Morph definitely has feelings for Logan. We saw in season 1 when Sinister taunted them with a vision of Logan in the shower, and also later in the season when Morph turned into Jean and literally told Logan they loved him 😭 I think it was a nice choice for Yukio, another former love of Logan’s, to share that look with Morph at the end as if to say “I know the feeling.” Also felt very The Thing and Aliens coded this episode, down to Maverick literally yelling “Game over, man! Game over!”

I loved how quiet and just... sad the ending of this was with what Morph said. They love Logan so much, and that's why their transformation into Jean was also so sad. Logan could attack and didn't pull back with Morph, but seeing Jean did it. I really did like this episode for those moments, but also because it was also a real horror show, lol

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had a great weekend. Enjoyed the streams over the weekend and all the broad topics we covered haha 😊 This was a cool action/horror episode that felt very Thing / Aliens / Resident Evil in tone. I liked it a lot. Look forward to the next one 😊

While the title was a play on the movie “Sex, Lies and Videotape”, it would take more of a hipster than me to say whether there were any other associations with the film than just title wordplay

Sucks about your neck spasm thanks for powering through. Sabretooth and Wolverine is your typical big brother and little brother rivalry they just can heal fast af when one pushes the other off the slide.
