When I first watched this show it was hard to remember that Xander hates Angel.
This is a great turning point for the show. Introduces some fun characters and kind of sets up some stuff. It almost feels like the actual season premiere for this season. Love these reactions and I'm having a lot of fun revisiting this series for the first time.
I agree. Season 2 starts here. Damn I love this show.
BRO here we go!!!
JOYCE STAN CAMPAIGN STARTS NOW!! Nothing but love and respect for mama Summers 🫡 How could I forget about my weird icon Drusilla 😭 her actress is soo good at her creepy voice and mannerisms - that’s mum tbh And i love how quick they dropped the Anointed One after the Master died, they had NO idea what to do with him 😂 extremely good trade off tho, Spike slays (no pun intended)
Spike and Dru are such good additions to this season. But unlike Bonnie & Clyde, I think the comparison Joss and company were going for was Sid & Nancy. There’s a lot more punk there than gangster.
So yeah Spike and Dru sunnydales favorite undead Power Couple. Theyre fan favorites for a reason. the original plan was for the Annoying One to be the main villian for season 2 but the actor was growing too fast and Joss thought it would ruin the illusion of Vampires not aging so they brought in Spike and Dru.
He's here!! Spike!
Somehow nobody connects the "burned down a school building" to the school building that burned down at the end of the previous episode. That's why it's not just one time.
Honey, he’s home!!! Spike babyyyy! My fav bleach blonde undead king x
Happy "Buffy" Thursday, Natalie! 😊 I've been looking forward to this one ever since you started in this season. It's finally time for the arrival of two of my favorite vampires, Spike and Drusilla! Already looking forward to the next episode reaction. Have a great day today! Stay Golden! 💛
Spike!!
I totally forgot this was the Spike introduction episode
Same here. Wonder if she'll stick with the series long enough to find out why he really was called William the bloody...
Finally the introduction to Spike, I had a big crush on him growing up 😅
I get it haha
Yay, we are back in Sunnydale with Nattie for another crazy Buffy episode 😊 Another fun 45 minutes Nat. I don't know if you got the connection between the episode title School Hard and Die Hard, hence why Buffy spent a lot of it crawling around in the overhead vents 😅
