FIRST TIME WATCHING: X-Men '97 S2E2

Hardest part of this episode was seeing X-factor split up the Stepford Cuckoos. They are a set of triplets (actually quintuplets in the comics but two died) that a have psychic powers and they share their thoughts with each other constantly and have basically become a 3 in one hive mind. Having their powers inhibited is probably bad enough for them but to then put one in a separate cell is cruel.

Volcano Girls - Veruca Salt.

You were right! That is Angel! In the original 90s xmen series (and the comics) Angel was captured by Apocalypse and turned into one of his Horsemen, where his wings became metal and his name changed to Archangel - for edginess yknow Non-spoiler backstory on Apocalypse’s Horsemen: he’s had multiple groups throughout history. Basically whenever he arises he chooses 4 of the strongest mutants/warriors of that time - living or dead - to fit the titles of the 4 horsemen, and imbues them with his power and dominance so that they do his bidding. The ones in the future are his “Final Horsemen” which are gathered from all throughout time - and, yes. One of them was a civil war drummer You had a brief cliffnotes version of Apocalypse during one of the later McAvoy movies - X-men: Apocalypse 😅 Psylocke was there too!
