*Reiterating that I filmed these reactions when they had ad breaks in them. So unfortunately, that screws with the timer a bit. I do narrate when the ads start and when the episode comes back on. I figured out how to upgrade my account to ad free so that this won't be a problem in the future.

It feels like the writers reacted to the negative response to Mark and Ambers lack of chemistry in S1 by pivoting too hard in the opposite direction and making them TOO in love. Like Amber is so supportive now that it feels out of character lol
I take it more like all the things she was upset about or complaining about don't matter at all anymore after witnessing the Omni-Man fight, and knowing that Mark literally stopped a world takeover and almost died. She scaled her expectations back. And yeah, the writers probably pivoted a little bit, but I hope they had planned for this pivot initially and not just because she was so poorly received. For what it's worth, I think Zazie Beetz is killing it in season 2 and their relationship makes more sense now, at least expectations are more clear.
The ads are rather bothersome. There is a plugin on google called Ublock Origin that will get rid of the amazon ads. It's what I use and seeing how these ads are just there to try to force people who have for years been ad free to pay 3 more dollars to get rid of them, I'm calling it fair game. We paid our dues.
Alternate universe Cecile and Donna at the end were kinda serving, honestly 馃
Believe me, you鈥檙e not the only one who was confused by the Sequid/Russ Livingston/Martian switcheroo. I鈥檝e read the comics and still found it a little confusing at first. Absolutely LOVING season 2 BTW and hope you guys are, too!
I think it was the third time I saw the episode where Mark goes to Mars that I realized the sequids had infected the human astronaut and the martian impersonated him to escape. The flag changing on his arm could only be done by a shapeshifting martian, not a sequid. You really don't see any of that happen though and then they get off it real quick and don't mention it again until season 2 (except the brief scene in the finale with all the other bad guys). It is confusing.
As far as the sequids, a martian took the identity of the astronaut, and the sequids took control of the actual astronauts body, making him actually threatening to the other martians.
It was horrible that the graduation song from Vitamin C came out the year I graduated. You couldn't escape it... Also the skeletons hanging in Midnight City were the criminals the original Darkwing hung up at the end of the first episode before he answered the call to meet the Guardians before he was killed. No one came to get them down.
I still think it's awesome that Mr Winslow is actually voiced by the actor that played Carl Winslow in Family Matters

Happy Monday nat saw your skiing pics on insta and looks like you had a fantastic time, was in Portugal the past week so no clue when you were away , I do know I'm way behind on content though and came back with a horrible cold so feel rubbish rn ugh I hope you had better luck than we did at the airport cuz our flight got delayed for 5hrs total nightmare 馃し anyways nevermind that hope you're doing well and the doggos are too
