Mod Updates 5/15/26

A handful of updates, I don't think any of them are actually related to this week's patch, though. Some bad news about a Home Regions feature, though. Read the details below.

🔼 Lounge Sanity has been updated:

• Added singing to the list of prohibited actions for lounge guests

• Fixed an issue that prevented pineapple haters from reacting appropriately to pizza with pineapple on it

🔼 Home Regions has been updated:

• Home Regions now creates a log file to track when new Sims are spawned by the game and for what reason. By default, this file will reset each time you start the game and has a maximum size of 5MB.

• The filters for Get To Work active career coworkers have been disabled. Rabbithole coworkers and schoolmates are unaffected.

Due to a problem with my custom "Lives in Similar Region" filter, the GTW filters are currently disabled. This problem appears to pre-date the recent patch and I'm not sure when it started exactly. The conform phase of the filter (when it generates new Sims as needed) no longer has access to the active household's information during loading screens, so it cannot create suitable Sims for the lot you are travelling to. This too often resulted in the game spawning Sims in random worlds and then no NPC showing up to work anyway. While this was mitigated somewhat in established save files where suitable Sims already exist, it was extremely problematic in new save files or when an existing Sim died or became otherwise unavailable. After attempting several workarounds with unsatisfactory results, I have made the decision to disable these toggles for now. If I can find a working, alternate approach then I may restore them later, but at least in the short to medium term, they will not be available.

🔼 Career Overhaul has been updated:

• Related to the problem in Home Regions, the filter used by the Generate Coworkers Addon has been updated.
