My number one plugin for tonal correction and resonances: hear it!
And I am not talking about Soothe (or SPAN in the pic, ha, this is something much better).
You will hear a really resonant synth, and see how I am fixing it with my number one tonal corrector that sure is worth its weight in gold.
I use it on sounds as well as masters.
Especially every time I think there's a tonally complex sound that needs heavier lifting, I often use this to do at least some of the work and give me info on where to cut. And it doesn't only cut resonances: it often improves the overall sound, as you can hear.
Always learn about frequency ranges!
Will do more of these short-form videos about plugins and mixes and productions, to be more digestible. Want to give you these good plugin tips. I will add none of the plugins I will show you, ever, will be something I am "shilling": I actually use them all and will have you hear why.
Enjoy the ride!
BTW there's cheaper alternatives I use sometimes:
Waves Curve AG - I've used this a few times. It takes a bit more work as it has more settings, but can't fault it price-wise.
If you want resonance-only on the cheap: Phil Speiser - Smoother. Cannot boost, but it is cheap for resonance shaving, and once again, not bad for the price!

You sir are a scholar and a saint
Always willing to help 👊🏻😋
seems like an awesome plugin, but REALLY expensive. I recently came across this free tool that might help for other frugal people out there - keen to know what you think Fanu, or if you could do a video of you using this tool and giving your feedback: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXHEtftfdWs https://crql.works/anina/
Havent tried that. Waves Curves AQ is an ok cheaper alternative that ive used a few times.
Super helpful, I don’t use Bloom enough Do you oversample all the Oeksound plugins before bouncing?
Never even checked the settings for that, ha!
