17 reasons to love Ableton ❤️ [video]
I've been using Ableton Live since version 5.
It pretty much does everything I need, and it changed the way I make music.
Every time I mention this, I (naturally) am asked "Why?"

100% agree. I love it too and yes, the fact that it's run by musicians is great.
Nice overview, I learned some new tricks here and I've been using Live since version 8! Been using Renoise the last year or so as I needed a fresh perspective, but lately I've been feeling the pull back to Ableton with a new appreciation for its capabilities. Every DAW has compromises, but (to me) it often seems like Ableton has the smallest set of them.
great video! could have watched for 5h - love the facts and aspects about it!
I just spent most of a month chopping audio in arrangement view starting from bar one because it felt intuitive. I am now enlightened but my head hurts from banging it against the desk while watching this vid. Thank you

Hi Fanu, Thanks a lot for sharing this video. I started out with Ableton 6, and it’s still the piece of software I love the most. I never felt like anything was missing - you can really use it however you want, and I’ve never felt limited by it. As you said (and I fully agree), the people who designed it are musicians themselves, and you can really feel that. Huge thanks to Monolake, one of my favorite producers and such a genuinely nice guy.
Yeah it makes me feel good that there’s music people like us running the show :)
