[Announcement] Dark Souls 2: Seamless Co-op - Release window
Hi everyone
Apologies for the delay in update frequency I've been very busy since I got home last week, I tried to keep to the mid-September deadline but this past week has reminded me to not be specific with dates in the future.
Release window III
The mod will be out early this week on 22/09/26.
Once again, I'll make a post here when it actually does come out so there's no need to constantly refresh.
Linked is a video made by Amirah on the mod - in the video, she explains the basic functionality and some of the mechanics of the mod. I highly recommend watching it through to get a good idea of what to expect and how certain options in the mod settings file work.
Additional changes since the last post
PvP proximity voice chat (can be disabled in the settings file)
Borderless full-screen (can be enabled in the settings file)
Additional placeholder covenant items
Disaster enemy balancing
PvP bracket optimisation
Arena / duel matchmaking and removal of Token of Spite / Token of Fidelity requirement
A myriad of bug fixes

Blue Acolyte and mod compatibility
Blue Acolyte is incompatible with seamless co-op. It is not needed, as the patches it makes are already bakes into seamless co-op itself.
Other mod testing has not taken place. I cannot guarantee every mod will be compatible.

I'm facing issues with seamless coop as I use a brazier on the fire for new game and it doesn't work with boss, boss doesn't revive. Is there any way to solve it?

Normaly yes, because it depend of the world not the player

When you say "cannot guarantee" what can you predict about things like Seeker of Fire or Bearer of the Curse as they change enemy placement and even one of them adds fog walls to specific areas and removes others? Absolutely LOVE this btw. I'll say I wish my friends weren't cheap so I has a friend to test the beta with 😭
Will it come to the peak DX9 version? I enjoy that version more. But excited never the less.

I don't remember if you've specified before, will Seamless have compatibility with Blue Acolyte, will it have the protections already built in, or will it not have either?
Blue Acolyte is not needed with seamless co-op because it is basically embedded inside the mod.

No it works for co-op and PvP. But you can turn off PvP voice chat in the settings file

Thank you so much! Between me and the others that are/were impatient, please understand that its because of how much we love your work! You and your friends are doing such great work and we are all immensely greatful for it. Thanks for the updates! It is definitely much needed. (It is definitely the unfortunately end of giving deadlines- the dopamine hits people in the heads and makes people (myself included) extra ravenous. I understand how frustrating it can be getting blown up messages about release, but again, as a silverlining at least, it just goes to show how talented you are! After this definitely take a good long rest, make sure to hydrate and eat well! We are all very privileged to have this mod thanks to your hard work. :)
