Succubi Chapter 253. You Smell So Nice~
Lilith's smile widened.
That was not the smile of a woman who had come to lecture me about proper dormitory behavior. That was the smile of a succubus who had discovered an exceptionally entertaining situation and was already deciding how thoroughly she intended to exploit it.
Her heels clicked against the floor as she approached. Slowly.
She held her wineglass in one hand, the dark liquid catching the warm light. Her other hand brushed along the back of the couch, fingertips gliding over the upholstery until she reached me.
I was still naked, with absolutely nothing between my dignity and the consequences of my earlier decisions. Not that Lilith seemed particularly concerned about my dignity. Quite the opposite.
Her crimson eyes traveled over me before returning to my face. She studied me with the calm appreciation of someone examining a gift she had been promised, and the longer she looked, the harder it became to maintain my usual expression.
She set her wineglass aside. Then her fingers found my chin.
The touch was light, almost affectionate, but there was something unmistakably commanding about the way she tilted my face toward hers. Her thumb brushed my cheek, lingering there while her eyes searched mine.
She smelled faintly of roses, expensive wine, and that distinctive sweetness I had come to associate with her.
My body recognized her before my brain finished processing the situation. Traitor.
Lilith's fingertips traveled from my cheek to my neck, then rested against my shoulder. She moved with unhurried confidence, letting the anticipation do most of the work.
And anticipation, I was discovering, was a particularly cruel weapon in the hands of a succubus.
Behind her, Rivy watched with a wicked grin.
Val had gone suspiciously quiet, though the amusement in her eyes suggested she was enjoying every second.
Sera, meanwhile, had settled comfortably among the pillows, watching Lilith with the serene expression of someone witnessing a master demonstrate a technique.
Apparently this had become an advanced seduction seminar. And I was the teaching material.
Lilith leaned closer.
Her hair slipped over one shoulder, brushing my arm. The loose neckline of her robe shifted as she bent toward me, and the warmth of her presence seemed to swallow the space between us.
She placed one hand against my chest. Not to push. Simply to feel the rapid beat of my heart. Her smile turned unbearably pleased.
“Oh, Evan,” she whispered.
Two fucking words, and my Pride practically rolled over asking for affection.
Lilith's fingertips traveled from my cheek to my neck, then rested against my shoulder. Her crimson eyes wandered over me, and a wicked smile slowly curved her lips.
“Since you look so energetic, I shall join this.” She leaned closer, her warm breath brushing my ear. “Besides…” Her voice dropped into a sweet, seductive purr. “You smell so nice~”
Of course I did. After spending the night surrounded by three succubi, my demonic aura was practically announcing that I was having the time of my life.
And Lilith, being the Sin of Lust herself, could probably sense every bit of it.
I caught her wrist gently, refusing to surrender quite so easily. She glanced down at my hand, then back at my face, and I gave her the most confident smirk I could manage.
“Is that a challenge?” I asked, deliberately lowering my voice. My smirk widened as I drew her a little closer. “If yes, then bring it on.”
Lilith's eyebrows rose slightly. Then she laughed.
Not mockingly. No. It was the soft, delighted laughter of a woman who had just been handed exactly the kind of trouble she enjoyed.
“Oh, my adorable, prideful boy…” she purred, gently brushing her nose against mine. “You really do love challenging me, don't you?”
Unfortunately, confidence became considerably more difficult when the woman in front of me knew exactly how much I enjoyed her attention.
Lilith leaned nearer, her forehead almost touching mine.
For a moment, the playful menace softened.
There was genuine warmth beneath her teasing. Relief, too. She had been waiting for me to return from the mission, and although she would undoubtedly torture me about the banquet later, she seemed content simply knowing I was here.
She brushed my hair away from my forehead, and lowered herself until our faces were only inches apart. I could have teased her. Instead, I reached for her.
Lilith's expression softened for a heartbeat. Then she kissed me, her lips pressing against mine with a warmth that quickly turned into something more demanding.
I returned the kiss, drawing her closer as her lips parted against mine. Our tongues met in a slow, teasing dance as the kiss deepened. Her fingers slipped into my hair, holding me close while I tightened my arms around her waist.
When we finally separated, a delicate thread of saliva briefly connected our lips before breaking. Lilith smiled against my mouth, her crimson eyes gleaming with affection and unmistakable mischief.
“Now…” she whispered, her voice turning into that dangerously sweet purr I knew far too well. “I need more than a kiss, Evan.” The tone that made every survival instinct in my body submit its resignation.
Lilith leaned closer, pressing herself against me until the warmth of her body became impossible to ignore. The loose fabric of her robe shifted between us, revealing that she had apparently decided a bra was an unnecessary inconvenience tonight.
Her fingers traced my shoulder, wandered across my chest, then descended toward my waist with slowness. “You know what I want…” She licked her lips.
I swallowed. This woman could turn three ordinary words into a declaration of war. I caught her wandering hand and lifted it to my lips, kissing her knuckles while maintaining the most arrogant smile I could manage. “Then you'll have to convince me.”
Lilith's eyes narrowed with delight.
Behind her, Rivy laughed softly. Val watched with the fascinated expression of someone witnessing an extremely profitable negotiation. Sera's tentacles curled lazily around a pillow, although her eyes remained fixed on us.
Lilith leaned closer until her forehead rested against mine. Her perfume surrounded me, familiar and intoxicating, while her fingers threaded through mine.
“My darling Evan,” she murmured, brushing another kiss against the corner of my mouth. “You really have no idea how persuasive I can be.”
I grinned. “Then show me.”
Her laughter was barely a whisper before she kissed me again, and the other three exchanged knowing smiles.
Apparently, my challenge had just become the evening's main entertainment.
