Those are... interesting helmets.
I really like this idea! The concept of the beefy hunk Skelly-guys is awesome! I am sure these will still have a long way to go (especially the horses) but I love the direction!
I'm not big into vampires..... but damn these are interesting! Very unique and creepy!
They are undead knights, not human knights. They are based on the Witcher Wild Hunt.
So you're doing Undead Elves?
do you start with an sketch or an artwork, or do you "model free" and without an template?
It depends very much on the model. In some cases we draw, in others we work on the basis of a collage of photos, and in others we assemble them freely. It depends a lot on how clear we are about the design.
I am with Evgeniy, I am also not a fan. It's not comparable with the two other human mounted knights you did. These wips look ackward. The helmet, the horse barding and etc doesn't look good. Sorry, no offense meant, but comparing these with all the latest beautiful cavalry you did.. it's not a good comparison. Here is some artwork that would be much better looking and more in line with the two other outstanding cavalry you did. https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/038/258/050/large/the-old-world-22.jpg?1622603828 https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/1cb7ba41-5790-4254-8a5d-ba742361a96d/d5r1jyj-d53f061b-c3c6-4409-8ece-deedb01cb375.png?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7InBhdGgiOiJcL2ZcLzFjYjdiYTQxLTU3OTAtNDI1NC04YTVkLWJhNzQyMzYxYTk2ZFwvZDVyMWp5ai1kNTNmMDYxYi1jM2M2LTQ0MDktOGVjZS1kZWVkYjAxY2IzNzUucG5nIn1dXSwiYXVkIjpbInVybjpzZXJ2aWNlOmZpbGUuZG93bmxvYWQiXX0.WPML6z3Z-MEB0i8fJ_srjACmpsEWucrV2_9vDWIZpAQ
These examples look nice.... but aren't they similar to some of the recent stuff they already released? Maybe there might be the potential to kitbash?
Sorry guys, I don't like it at all. You are very cool, but this design is strange and it will be painted the same way. No offense please
Specially the helmets. They do seem a bit off to me :/
Very cool and interesting, looking forward to previews down the track this month
