Third September Preview: Neidhart and Steel Ancestor

Welcome to our third preview for September! In this update, we are excited to showcase two distinct additions coming to our lines: a character sculpt for The Bannerman and a towering war machine for The Crusader.

The Bannerman — Dramatis Personae: Neidhart

We are introducing Neidhart, the first miniature in the new Dramatis Personae series for The Bannerman. This sculpt is based on an original design by illustrator Frida Bergholtz, whose portfolio showcases exceptional work across fantasy illustration, medieval themes, and nuanced character portraits.

The miniature captures a slender human figure dressed in detailed layered clothing and a distinctive plumed cap, armed with an elegant curved sword.

You can explore more of Frida's artwork and follow her work across her channels:

The Crusader — Steel Ancestor

For The Crusader, we are revealing the Steel Ancestor, a massive armoured bipedal war machine equipped with integrated firearms and energy-wreathed close-combat weapons.

Designed with high assembly versatility in mind, the miniature features an extensive breakdown into separate parts. In particular, the way the legs are broken down lets you adjust their position and experiment with different stances, giving you more freedom to personalise the pose on the tabletop.

Community Feedback

As we continue developing larger miniatures, we would love to hear your thoughts on kit design:

  • Do you prefer highly versatile multi-part kits that offer more posing freedom and assembly choices?

  • Or do you lean toward more predefined poses that are quicker and easier to assemble?

Let us know in the comments which direction you prefer for future large models and what matters most to you during assembly!

For armies multi-kits for roleplaying a well posed mini. :) I'm not picky. And Neidhart looks awesome!

el problema es que el ancestro empieza a rozar la locura. NO de momento no tiene cimera.

Multi-part kits or at least options to diversify more please, the poses your are coming up with are very often top notch, however, if I plan a bigger army, especially from your fantasy lineup, I end up with the need of multiple beautiful miniature which unfortunately look too much like a clone army :/
