Progress 10.08.2026
Hello all!
Ehh... yeah, okay. Rendering is going decently. I have one scene left to render; it’s... a bit more complex than I expected, but eh, it’s just a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things. Next one is probably even more annoying.
Writing is progressing. I have a plan for tonight, so all should be good on that front. Not that the plans have been holding recently, but alas, that’s life.
Sooo... I really had to find an image that wouldn’t be a major spoiler. This is actually from the last scene. For the first time, I rendered scenes out of order, partially because I wasn’t in the mood for building a complex set on Sunday... which I ended up doing anyway after rendering this scene. And thus, chat between Detective Randall and Agent Smith... and giving the good detective some extra gear so she can protect herself. Some basic things, anyway. Right, a shortish break and then finishing this part and writing.

Pickles ? Damn... A relapse...
Thanks for the update. Building on what DocWhoJ said (also a big fan) What kind of vampire is he? Some can and can't be seen in a mirror, some die in running water, some sparkle in sunlight and some live like everyone else but have a craving that won't go away and so on. Just wondering. I know I'm being a pain, sorry.
Outside that he would be seen in the mirror if the camera angle would be different, that and he isn't a vampire, it was the other (third) detective in the scene (Hartman) >.> Hypothetically (mind you, the not seeing vampire from mirror is "relatively" new, it came from Bram Stoker's Dracula and it isn't present in the mythology regarding vampires), modern mirrors would reflect them as the mirror backing is made from aluminum, in the "old days" the backing was made from silver, and silver is considered a "pure/holy" metal which might not have reflected anyone evil or without a soul. And not being a pain, so no worries there.
When you're out of stakes, sharpen a frozen pickle and stab a Vampire. Or throw the pickle at werecats. They will think it's a snake and flee.
There's no reflection of agent Smith in the mirror. But we knew that he's a vampire.
Unfortunately... it's from the camera angle ;)
Thank You Tal ❤️😁
Nice
I wonder where that mirror goes?
No where... But I wouldn't look too deeply in it...
are those pickles LMAO
Yes, and there is perfectly valid explanation for them >.>
