Progress 03.07.2026
Hello all!
So, slight warning about the next release, there is apparently bad weather front moving over me over the weekend. And it is supposedly supposed to rain as much as an entire month during the next couple of days. So the release might be a bit late depending on how much thunder there is. Just a heads-up, but nothing most of you don’t already know during summer. At least in the worst case scenario, I have plenty of time to write as I have... means for it regardless of the weather. Anyway.
Rendering is... mostly done. I need to render one image again and make a fix for a handful of images. Annoying, but those things happen. So what is left? Post-work, mostly. Coding is about 90% done, then it is just doing the initial testing of seeing what is broken still, before I can send it to testing... where they find most of the things that I missed. Hooray...
Writing? Writing is in an okay state overall; I should be able to finish it over the weekend. So hooray?
I’ve been testing some heavier fog effects while waiting characters to load, and since the last two or three scenes are something I don’t really want to spoil... one of those tests. Unfortunately, the last time I checked the documentation on the fog settings was... limited. So a lot of it is trial and error on my part. Anyway. A short break, then some... stuff. You all have a great weekend!
P.S. Have a clearer version of it...

I still think the main Character should be Garret but adding his son to the main character list would be really nice because it gets a different feel to it when we see 2 perspectives. And garret isnt even old yet so would feel kinda wrong if you mostly ony focused on his sons or daughters. Any thought to it? :D gl
It's more about managing the cast, at times you just need to reset things. And unless you want to kill the cast changing generations or the main character is a lot more easier.
be careful, mate. Bucharest pretty much fell into chaos because of the rain, where it rained in a day almost as much as it should in 2 months. stay safe, stay dry.
