Progress 16.03.2026 and Changelog for Sorcerer 2 0.5.0
Hello all!
Well, as you can guess from the title, release is soon... ish. Although slight change of plans with... limited download links for now, I’ll put them up as soon as they are available through the evening/night/day. Apparently, the larger ones, for some reason, take their... time.
Other than that? Started rendering 0.6.0, nothing shocking there. As for writing? It’s moving on to 10, so yeah... things are looking okay.
This was an environmental test; obviously, I can’t show what I’m working on right now since that would be a spoiler. But I’m not fully happy with this; some of the textures aren’t... that great. Mostly the ground and some of the stonework. I fixed a few errors but some? Some need a full shader replacement if used during daylight. So why I show this again if I’m not happy? Same reason why I don’t do remasters. You learn from mistakes. And at times if I test something, it might help someone else to avoid the same errors. In this? I would swap the terrace and the ground textures. Will it work? That would be another test. Although... there was another reason for this. And she is in the shadows. Anyway, the important stuff.

Wow--This reminds me of many things. There is a strobg sense of nostalgia in this presentation, even to the extent that Folk like Nurse Steele who seemed increasingly disgruntled as babies were born and balloons added in the Denouement of Sorcerer 1 and the Preservationist Psycho Goddard who tried to preserve fairy by keeping it captive and now wants to summon a hellhound (Fluffy) to the Asociation HQ in New York even if her darling pet consumes the odd human or two. Looking at the Codex, I note one of the rescued teens from Sorcerer 1. This isn't just a story; It is the summary of a House in a unique environment. I am reminded of Wheel of Time though Bruce and Wayne are not quite Ogiers. This VN continues to impress.
