This Is Us 1x01 Edited & Full
Well, here's something new! I am ready (I think) to bring back a third show. I could NOT decide what I wanted to do. Literally no one asked for Friends, but that's what I was going to pick. A few people, however, have asked for This is Us. So I'm going to give this a try!
I'll be honest, I've chosen some shows in the last year that haven't been popular. It makes me feel bad when I spend hours editing the episodes for the videos to not do "well" each week, and YouTube basically tells me that I've failed. I'm approaching this show differently. If it does well on Youtube, then I will continue. If it doesn't, then I won't pressure myself to continue and I'll choose something else that people might want to watch more. The pressure is all in my head, I prefer to complete things, I don't want to start something and then stop.
BUT, I don't want to start something and be doing it for a year or two and it be something people don't care about, more.
So! I really hope people do like it, as this was a lovely first episode and I think it's going to be SUPER emotional and heartbreaking and fun and fulfilling. Fingers crossed!

(p.s. I'm uploading the edited version over on yt at the same time as this full episode. The reason for doing this is to gauge interest so I know straight away if I should continue. If people are interested enough, then I'll eventually be ahead on Patreon by about a week like we usually are here!)

Your post episode reflection was exactly what I felt we'd get from you. A youtube entry just as fulfilling as the show itself . Totally saw your heart grow 10 sizes when you figured out the connection!

I'll have to wait and see! My main worry is not continuing as I know people may get mad but I don't want to do it for years if not that many people want it. I did think I could just share the full episodes. It's the editing that kills me 🤣 I've also considered when Ted finishes to replace that with a movie every 2 weeks or so. I think that may be the plan, and Ted only has 2 episodes left 😭 so I was thinking next week I'd watch a movie and work on editing that bit by bit. Neil, I hope your weekend is going to be okay.
