Ted Lasso 3x07 Edited & Full

Well.... the day has come. I might be looking at a certain character with different eyes. I suppose it was inevitable, and I'm not mad about it.

But let's just mention Roy Kent and the fact that he really may have a delightfully sadistic side which unsurprisingly, I LOVE!

I will have a second Ted Lasso episode out this week 🙌

That Nate does _not_ spit at himself when he needs some self-confidence to ask Jade out -- That is huge. He has been realizing that he doesn't need to think of himself as silly or weak or whatever and compensate for it by being an ass -- by putting others down or by putting himself down the way he so often thinks that others put him down or think little of him. He looks at himself, and he even gives a little smile: He can be his own cute creative gift box pop-up diorama box-making self. (He's just learned about his silly map-making father!) And that cute, earnest, hopeful self is enough. More than enough. Even if he trips and falls on his face and his cute little box gets squashed by a car, he's still enough just as he honestly is. He asks and Jade doesn't hesitate. Yes.

I fully agree, Nate and Jade are very cute together. The ending with all of them showing up to help Sam brings tears to my eyes.

See, and this is the thing... I never thought I'd EVER give Nate the time of day again but here we are. I both love and hate what they did to us 🤣

I looked into where some of the places in the show are actually located and found that the pub and Ted's place are only four miles away from where I live. Once I've had, and recovered, from my operation I'll have to visit the pub for lunch one day I think. It'd be cool to see how similar it actually is (or isn't) to the show. I also looked up where A Taste of Athens (Nate's favourite restaurant) is located and that's just under 9 miles away. If I ever need to go to that area I might have to book a table there as well. Thanks for another excellent reaction Juliette. Hope you have a lovely day 💜

NEIL........ THAT IS AMAZING. You can actually go to those places! RIGHT NOW! Get on your bike, and start pedalling 🤣

Great episode and reaction. How can you not love Sam and his Dad? The message “shut up and dribble.” Is a reference to LeBron James and another basketball player who expressed their political views and a television commentator on a news network said they should “Shut up and dribble.”

You're only just getting that Roy has some psycho tendencies? ;) The whole thing with the red strong was definitely coming from a place of sadism rather than something necessary for training and in real life the players would have had grounds to complain about that. It's fun to see you bring up the earlier episode and his suggestion on dealing with a bully which was worryingly specific. I loved how it seemed to follow up on last episode on various ways, like Roy on a bike as he trains Jamie, Keeley and Rebecca discussing the Dutchman and developing the idea of Total Football at Richmond. Still waiting on more to happen with Colin and his storyline.

The red string was BRILLIANT 🤣 Props to the team for actually doing it, because I don't think I would if I were them haha!
