My paranoia's getting the better of me. I can't find Dollhouse streaming on any platform in the UK anymore. I went looking to specifically watch this episode (had to order an import Blu-ray from Amazon). Went looking for your reaction vids on YT and eps 9+10 are missing. Say what you want about Joss Whedon, I think he stumbled onto something. Tell me The Attic isn't what we would now call an AI Data Centre. Maybe not powered by people, but the parallels are sending shivers down my spine.
i wonder if you have ever watched yellowjackets? it does have gore and is creepy but somehow i still think youd really like it.
i love this episode. its so interesting and surprising. and of course disturbing. although i am confused if some of those thignsin echos nightmare were carolines childhood memories, since she doesnt have carolines imprint in her. same with the other two, did they get their original personalities back? otherwise how would they have nightmares based on their real selves. the other things echo saw like the horse girl and the croquet were from other imprints, not her. so those made sense. but unsure about the rest.
"I have to try to enjoy myself." That's it, I'm scarred for life. I love the misdirection in this. And really, Juliette, how could you ever doubt Adele? :-P You probably know that I've never liked Paul - but the actor is great. The way he convincingly speaks gibberish: not a lot of people can do that. Usually it sounds very forced. But he sounds great.
Haha yes I remember what you've said about Paul in the past! I always liked him and Mellie together. Mellie is a sweetheart (I know... she's not "real" ...man, this show is so confusing mentally haha) Honestly, the acting is top notch. It's such a great show! I still cannot get over Victor as Topher though. The one thing I did kinda wish there was more of when Victor is Topher is the little breathing thing that Topher does. He inhales a breath and it sounds very gurgly 馃ぃ
Adelle has reached her final form, Evil Adelle as Good Adelle! All my carry on about how I love both versions of her, it was all a trick! Jokes aside, banger episode! I don't think it's spoilery to say that we're in for a ride these last few eps. Hold on to your butts, folks!
I love Adele's character throughout this show!! What a rollercoaster!
