Ted Lasso 2x12

Well.... I thought I was angry before. This takes the cake. I have never been so mad when watching TV before in my life. I am not a hateful person usually, but this has got me so riled up!!

Let's see what the third season brings 馃憖

To be honest I'm starting to feel sorry for Nate. Yes he's doing some nasty things, and blaming Ted for his own faults. But it's coming from a place of pain and insecurity. He needs a lot of healing before he can become a better man. Akufo shows his true face.

This episode was just so full of important moments. Some thoughts: The Roy-Keely vacation moment. I think Roy was being sweet but also not thoughtful. Keely is starting her own business. This is the most important time of her career. Thinking that she could leave for six weeks (even with WiFi), is not thinking about her. It also highlights that they are in different places. Roy has just retired from his career and she is just starting hers. Oh Nate. The signs were there but it was still hard to believe. In general bullied people can become bullies themselves. Nate obviously has a lot to work through and he was unfairly projecting on Ted. Also, he criticized him not having his picture up. I believe we saw it in his home with his pictures of his family. And if Ted can鈥檛 bring out the positives in him, what will be the impact of Rupert being his guide. Great episode and season. Loved that Dani got the winning goal after how the season started. Loved the extra spotlight we got from Sam this season. And loved seeing Rebecca being on the good side. Looking forward to watching next season with you.

Yes, I think Roy is so impulsive. I could NEVER drop everything and go on a vacation, especially not 6 weeks. The longest I've ever been away has been 2. I totally get Keely's reaction, but it feels like a kick and I don't think both of them need that right now. Yes, you're right... Roy has retired but Keely is just starting. Very different places. It was such a great season. Bring on season 3 and then in just a few months, another 馃グ Thank you, Joe!!

This series was a rough ride for so many characters from the start with Dani accidentally killing that dog, and in turn for us as viewers, so it was lovely to see some positive things at the end with promotion, Sam staying, Keeley's new job and other things. Given how Akufo reacted it was maybe for the best that Sam declined to play for him. Maybe it was also a bit bittersweet with Trent Crimm, no longer the Independent (maybe this show's version of Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister) inevitably losing his job for leaking Nate's name to Ted, and the news about Rupert taking over another club before taking Nate as well. That at least answers what they might have been talking about at the funeral a few episodes. At least you can always rely on Roy to make things funny even with the anger towards Nate. Nate trying to tell Ted why he felt the way he did was staggering with how he completely got it wrong and it wasn't remotely fair on Ted at all. He and Rupert deserve each other. West Ham and Richmond are definitely going to face each other a couple of times next season because that's how the league works and no doubt that'll play a major part in an episode. What's amusing to me is that Richmond being terrible early in the season but recovering enough to snatch promotion is exactly what happened to my team this season ;)

There are SO MANY wonderful characters in this series, that we can't help but love them. Dani is such a sweetheart. So is Sam. Ted is... well, he's an angel. I love them all. And then we have Rupert and Nate. Two despicable characters that sort of take the edge off the sweetness. I guess we can't always have good things 馃ズ
