The Iron Giant - Edited & Full
I'm watching this because of Ted Lasso as I didn't want to miss out 😅 I really enjoyed this movie. It told a wonderful little story and the giant metal robot was adorable and so cute 😭 I think I'm going to watch more animated films, and I do have one in mind to watch next... 🐻
For those following along on my movie editing journey - The editing for this one pretty much took me a whole day, from around 7am to 3pm, and I decided to put a transparent logo over the top, just in case it helps to make it compliant to the YouTube Powers That Be.
I hope you enjoy!

Now you know why Ted said there would be a room full of grown men crying. For another animated film that I think you'd enjoy: Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. It's a masterpiece of animation and storytelling.
I hadn't seen this before now, it must have slipped by me, but I really enjoyed it though. Since you're wanting to watch more animated movies have you seen Tangled? It's probably my favourite animated Disney film in the past couple of decades and I think you'd really enjoy it.
It really was lovely! One thing I enjoy about animated movies is that they mostly seem to have a happy ending. I don't think I've seen Tangled! I think I've heard of it though. I will put it on my list! Thank you, Neil. Have a lovely week ahead! I need my cup of tea 😋💜
Remember the Iron Giant enemy towards the end of every Final Fantasy game
Ohhh I’m so happy you reacted to this! I’ve been wanting to re-watch this for awhile but have been putting it off because sometimes I don’t want to cry lol
HAHA I know that feeling well! Sometimes I just don't feel like it either so I have to force my emotions to behave 🤣
I'm really glad you dug the movie, and hope you see more for the channel. "How to Train Your Dragon", "The Incredibles"--oh, and not, itself, animated, but *very* much has that feel, "Kung Fu Hustle". It's seriously worth considering. 😄 🏳️🌈🖖💜💚
Hello DG 👋💜 I've not seen the How to Train Your Dragon movies, so that might be a good one to go for! I've always been scared of animated reactions and copyright, but maybe it's okay 🥹
It is so funny and sweet that you chose to watch this because of Ted Lasso. It is like you are a member of the team (although I still think they should have chosen pillow fight instead of movie night.) This movie came out in 1999, but it was made in an older style so it had more of a classic animation feel. Although maybe 1999 is old, now I feel old. There are so many great animated movies. The closest one to this one, might be Wild Robot, which I think you would like. This director eventually was hired by Pixar and made another of my favorite animated movies, Ratatouille. Then there is also my favorite animated movie, Wall-E, that I hope you check out one day.
1999 does seem like a lifetime ago and yet, just yesterday. Sometimes I think about "the good old days" and I remember what it was like. Things seemed more peaceful then. Or maybe I was young and focused on other things and didn't see the news as often. Compared to now though, the 80s and 90s seemed like paradise. The roads were quiet. it felt safer. things didn't feel so big... Ah, Joe. Now you've gone and got me all nostalgic 😭 Someone else mentioned Wall-E!! All I know is he is a little robot on tracks, I think! One to watch soon I think 💜
Wow, you're really out to torture your heart, aren't you? 😉😅 I love this wonderful heartfelt gem of a movie, great choice and now you know why Ted expected a room full of grown men to cry at minute 75...😂😍🙈 If you're out for animated movies, allow me to recommend you some that I think you would really love: "The Wild Robot", "Wall-E", "Soul", Ratatouille", "How to Train Your Dragon 1-3", "Puss in Boots - The Last Wish", my favorite anime "Your Name". There are many more, but those are all my personal favorites...😊
Awww thank you for your recommendations!! I've seen a few of those ones but I'll check out the ones I haven't! And yes, now I understand why everyone was crying 🥲😅
The fact that you're watching this because it was mentioned in Ted Lasso is amazing. One of the best movies of all time
I wanted to join in the fun 😭 I've seen very few animated movies, mostly just the most popular ones like Toy Story, Secret life of Pets, Despicable Me etc. I would like to see more!
