Ted Lasso 1x10 Edited & Full

We've made it to the end of the first season (it went far too quickly!) and I hope you've loved it as much as I did. So much laughter, tears, fears, happiness and just gosh darn beauty over the last 10 episodes.

I think I know what we might face in the next season, and I cannot wait to see where this story takes us!

Ted hitting his head on the door frame when he jumped up was, indeed, an accident. Jason hit his head hard enough that he started bleeding heavily, and though he finished the scene, he had to be rushed to A&E to be treated. So, that is Hannah Waddingham's actual reaction.

I'm sure it's been pointed out, but it's nice to remember that whenever you see the Higgins family, it's actor Jeremy Swift's actual wife and kids. On to season two!

I knew about his wife, but I don't think I knew it was their children!! How awesome!!!

You were understandably confused by the American sports expression, a tie “is like kissing your sister.” It is definitely a strange expression that according to the internet "implies that while you technically did not lose, you did not achieve a true victory either, making the result feel pointless or uncomfortable." I have no idea if it is true though because I am not an athlete… and other reasons. The speech at the end where Ted says that there is something worse than being sad, being alone and being sad rings so true to me in ways that going beyond sports. It is a good reminder to seek out others on days where we are down.

🎶 "He's here! He's there! He's every fucking where! Roy Kent! Roy Kent!" 🎶 While it'll be sad if that was indeed Roy's final match he should be very proud of the performance he put in. He really showed everyone exactly what he was about. I never thought the team would actually get relegated. I was thinking they'd just barely scrape through and then come back strong next season. And like you said, of course it had to be Jamie that sent them down. Rebecca's earlier sabotaging really did the trick there, even if she didn't want it to anymore by that point. Now we'll have to see how they cope in the Championship. Thanks for all the excellent reactions to this season Juliette. Can't wait to continue the journey with season two!
