Dangal Movie Reaction - Edited & Full
I am so surprised that 3 Idiots did so well on the youtube channel! It made me so happy to see people enjoying and vibing with something a little bit different.
I had a lot of recommendations for movies to watch next in the 3 Idiots comments, but decided on Dangal. It stars the same actor as Rancho, Aamir Khan, who has very quickly grown on me! I can't wait to see more of his movies.
Dangal is an emotional and heartfelt (mostly) true story, and I loved it. Again, it's a long movie which I think is normal for Indian films. Most are almost 3 hours long which makes the editing process interesting 馃ぃ As much as I am enjoying them, I might have to watch them less frequently as it does take a huge chunk out of my week and I'm finding other edits are slowing down because of it. I wanted the movies to fit in easily every 2 weeks. The next movie I'll be watching is a Patreon recommended one (a secret for now as I haven't watched it yet haha) and the run time is 1hr 48 which is much more reasonable editing wise! So... I'll just see how it goes and if I feel a bit more comfy with editing a shorter run time.

I have to re-recommend my favorite Aamir Khan movie, Lagaan. The downside is that it's even longer than the movies you've seen so far (it's almost 4 hours) but it's well worth a watch at some point
I did actually look at that one over the weekend! I think you're right, it might be a little too long for me to edit but I might hold off on that for a bit until I work out an editor. Either way, I will watch it as it looks great!!
Ok I just finished watching and man, what a great movie! Aside from the story, which is excellent, and the many amazing actors, I also loved the various songs that played throughout. Actually my favourite moment was the montage when the girls first started their training. There you were all concerned & worried but I was just cracking up at the song lyrics which had such overly dramatic lines as "oh papa you are injurious to our health", "have mercy on us, we are little children" and "so much discipline makes us want to die"! (I had to Google it to see if it was supposed to be funny or if I am just a monster. Happy to find it's supposed to be funny 馃槀). That's two very enjoyable Indian movies you've introduced me to now Juliette. I hope this one does well enough for you to continue with them as I'd love to see more (hopefully you can find a shorter, easier to edit one!). Hope you had a lovely weekend and thanks for another awesome reaction video 馃挏 (I'm happy to say there wasn't any problem syncing this one. I didn't watch via Netflix as you did but it stayed perfectly in sync throughout)
Ahhh yay, that is so good to hear, Neil! I'm so glad you enjoyed, and that the movie synched for once. I've been thinking, I wouldn't mind experimenting with having the logo over the screen but having the volume on. I know a few people back in the beginning said no to that, but maybe it's worth asking again. If I keep the logo, then it's covered enough for it not to be okay for copyright, I think? Those lyrics WERE amusing, but I also wasn't too sure if it was meant to be funny or eye-openingly sad! I felt bad for those girls, and I was so worried that I wouldn't like the father as I really loved Rancho and I think Aamir is my favourite Indian actor. There's another of his I would like to watch, PK, which is a comedy! It's very interesting because although 3 Idiots has received a lot of views for me, the ad revenue it has generated is very small. Stardust has much less views, but it has made the same. I really don't understand YouTube sometimes 馃槄 Have a wonderful week ahead, Neil 馃挏
Nice, I'll give this one a watch in the morning (I'm far too tired to watch a movie right now). If I can have a guess at the next film you'll be watching without spoiling it, does the title begin with the letter J? Hope you're having a nice weekend Juliette and thanks for giving me something to watch tomorrow.
NEIL, have you been invading my thoughts again?! It could indeed start with J.... Now, what could it be? Just Kittens Jumping Cats Justice For Smelly Felines It really could be anything 馃憖
